My Foursquare account includes the 25 people I would actually care about seeing in my lifetime. Sorry, I don't need my 500+ Facebook friends knowing when I go to the grocery store.
I totally agree with you 'huh?' This is no real service. A dedicted product that actually helps interaction with your contacts has to be a better proposition. I helped mentor www.quickcatchip.com when it started up and we also opted to stay away from GEO as I think peoples privacy is already feeling violated. Very intrigued to see the final results of this poll as a result!

In what way is this a "service"? It's nothing more than gathering MORE personal info about people so FB can use it to market to you. I strongly recommend everyone boycott FB and close their accounts since they do nothing but violate your privacy at every turn. The same goes for the omnipresent "like" buttons that are now on non-FB sites as well. NEVER click these as they then share your personal data with millions of people you DO NOT want to have it.

I wouldn't use Facebook if they paid me. It's an evil site run by an evil human being. Zuckerburg runs a stalker site

There's no way I'm gonna use or support this. I use Foursquare but I willingly go there and use it knowing its to some degree sacrificing privacy. Facebook was built on privacy and privacy destroying things like Places should be from external sources and not a part of the actual service. Too many chances for innocent, unsuspecting Facebook users to use this and bring bad things their way.
I am currently using forusquare and i think i will switch to facebook places soon as i think places will grow much bigger.

Yes i will surely use...
Facebook is copying twitter again. Every update makes it closer and closer to being stalkerbook.
I ca't imagine
I will try it and see how easy it is to use, see what kind of offer I will get and watch as the competition will kicks in. May the best one win!!!
Every time I chck in in Foursquare I publish into Facebook, so if Facebook is going to have geo location, why would I still posting on Foursquare?
My phone runs on Android. For a long time, Facebook has neglected Android uses and as of this post, they continue to do so.
