Can the Public Provident Fund (PPF) be your retirement tool in itself?

    Yes, PPF can be a retirement tool in itself. But I don't think the amount you accrue at the end of 30 years is sufficient to lead a modest retired life.
    You'll have to look at other investments along with PPF.
