I've gotten food poisoning twice in my life... twice in the same month, actually. Not a good time for me, to be totally honest. It was absolutely terrible, but illnesses like the flu and food poisoning affect me worse than they do normal people as I am missing a portion of my bowel and colon. The first time I was ill for over two weeks but I'm stubborn and hate doctors and refused to go. The second time it was for about 4 days. The restaurant that I got food poisoning at the second time is thankfully now closed and for sale. Can't say I will miss it.
