I agree with the frustration of many commentators. Afterall we have committed the mistake of giving vote to the present Govt elite. The politicians have proved themselves to be most corrupt, utterly incompetent. There are some basic questions about the so called Democracy. Anybody thinking that there is democracy in Pakistan is living in fools paradize. Does it meet the basic three requirements of democracy ,viz, govt by the people, of the people, for the people. Is the presnt govt--of the people and working for the cause of the people? Whom are we bluffing? Poor flood affectees are dying under the open sky and the politicians are busy in blame game. None is seen alleviating their sufferings. Shameless govt elements are taking the credit of army's effort by saying that the army is part of Govt, or is the Govt. Then what is the problem in handing over the actual Govermental administration to Army who are actually competent, at least are better than the Jagirdar group.
The system we inherited from Brittish left only the subservients of 'Goraas' who continued to serve their interest by 1) No letting the literacy come to the masses 2) Not letting the the economy to flourish 3) promoting the sectarianism--- so that an Islamic country remians ever dependent on them. The only solution appears, we have to get rid of the Jagirdars---by laying highest limit to land possession by a person and imposing heavy taxes to large land owners. This will have to be done through a popular demand by masses who must force govt to make legislation on it.

the murder of bilal should not be overlooked.in such cases usually such crimes are not followed .as is the case of mukhtar mai where the fate of the alleged crime of her brother has not been given due attention by all circles who took the case of mukhtar mai.i hope that the crimes responsible for sugh inhuman revenges will also be addressed
