Could you work until you're 70?

I turned 77 today (10/10/10). I worked 2 part time jobs (at the same time) since April 2008, when I was told me by the company that I worked for, that I was no longer needed. (I should have taken them to court - they let me go because I was getting $13.00 a hour after nine years working for them, but they replaced me with a person that they pay the minimum wage to), and could only do about the easiest half of my job. Oh, well, that's how the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer. It's called "Greed", and they do it because they can get away with it!
As you can see, I'm bitter. They'll never have to worry about this happening to them, because they have a lot of money, and don't pay most of the taxes they should, because they have enough money ( that they screwed somebody out of, and invest in tax-free bonds, and "get depletion allowance on their oil well holdings" that they don't pay tax on, etc., etc.). Also they own a subchapter 'S' company, and write off all their expenses thru their company, and pay minimal taxes on their earnings. That's my comment -
    Sincerely, DAM
