Autodesk has announced that the next version of AutoCAD will be available for Mac OS X. Will your firm make the switch?

If your firm has pc and you have grown up using pc why would your firm change to mac. It makes no sense to change. Plus mac's are not the greatest.

First priority is to get us all on Revit. Spending money on AutoCAD and a new Mac is not an option we could even consider in this economy.

The only one I know who is considering it for Mac is not actually working with AutoCAD in an architectural office but is functioning as an owner's rep where the rest of the office is standardized on Mac (the rest of the office will not need AutoCAD). So in her case it makes sense although she will have to deal with AutoDesk for any tech support since everyone she knows with AutoCAD only works on PCs.

I am not sure why any firm is using AutoCAD only. Whether AutoCAD is in OS X or Win 7 seems a bit irrelevant. Why wouldn't Autodesk make Revit work on the Mac?
