    Chicken Little Lives!!!
Poor choice, poor team, nothing changes till the 'parking attendant' sells our beloved team!
    Sad day in L.A.!
The only thing we have is Vinny

De Ja Vu all over again. What a mess this once great organization has become. Ship those rotten Bostonians back from whence they came.

Mattingly is responsible for offense, which has been abysmal since July and now has responsibility for the entire club...all this with no prior experience! You can't kid a kidder!

wow, i don't know how the owners (won't use their names as it sickens me) got approval to purchase the Dodgers from mlb. And we all knew as fans that it was a travesty that they did, as we knew it wasn't in their best interest to own the Dodgers. All what they did for this team was terrible from the get go. Cutting payroll, getting divorced and having a gm who doesn't know what he's doing, Now we add to this situation a person who's going to be the next manager of the Dodgers totally without any experience at any level. All of this when you have a proven manager in Wallach in your farm system who's a winner too. I guess we all hope the Judge in the divorce case would force the owner(s) to sell the team and if not mlb tells them they have to. As a fan since the O'Malleys owned the team, the only thing that I look forward to is new ownership and a new direction in winning days as the Dodgers are accustomed to.

Oh, this is heartening news. To replace Torre, a man who could not differentiate between an effective pitcher and an ineffective pitcher ( Monasterios, Sherrill, Broxton et. al), we get a man who can't find his way off of the pitchers mound. What about Ausmus? What about Wallach? Why not try to pry away Ryne Sandburg who at least has managerial experience? It is now already wait until next year, NEXT year.

My perspective is that of a New Yorker who suffered through the tough seasons of the 80's. There were not many bright glimmers of hope back then in NY, but watching almost all the games, Don Mattingly, is one of the brightest baseball minds, and most respected persons. While he understands strategy as good as any, he also offers a calm demeanor and steady patience that seems to be needed in order to hold a position for any length of time in today's sports world where kid athletes are often pampered more than most one year olds. Don's respect for the game, his living example of leadership will give LA an awesome shot at a championship. This is a championship Don himself will strive for. Go for it, I am sorry we did not.

McCourt counts as two strikes so we are now up to four strikes against us.

The Dodgers organization is premier franchise which deserves top tier ownership and a proven manager. Now we have two strikes against us.

Forget Rick Monday, he's no manager. I say, recruit DUSTY BAKER! Former Dodger who has brought a couple of teams into the winner's circle. Yeah, Dusty!

I pick someone who's been in the Dodgers organization for many years, like Rick Monday.

Didn't we learn from watching Mike Soscia leave when we went out and got Davey Johnson? Give a Dodger a chance!
