I am an absolute stelena fan! I mean I won't lie, I love damon and Elena together they have chemistry and do a lot good for each other. But at the end of the I would 100% choose stelena, Stefan to me is the "perfect" guy. He is caring, romantic, gentle and he can COOK, like what's NOT to love?

All I want is for Stelena to happen again. The writers need to stop trying to make Steroline happen like it doesn't seem right, it just looks so forced. There better of as friends. I could probably tolerate if Delena was end game but if they make steroline endgame the whole show will be ruined for me. Caroline is better with Klaus, they actually have chemistry

I used to love Stefan and Ellena until around season 2 I guess, as soon as Damon stopped killing everyone it has always been Ellena and Damon. They make each other better people, yes Ellena too she is so much more fun with Damon let's be honest. I really don't understand Delena's relationship at all. No chemistry there for me. I cringe when I see them together. They were and still are one of the worst parings in TV history. And the word worst is pretty much canon for them, "Damon is either the best thing for her, or the worst" even Elena said that Damon IS the worst decision she could ever make but she still chose him. Then why say it you stupid cow?? And by the way I loved their relationship when they were actually together. Yeah their break ups were sooooo entertaining! They broke up at least what... 2 times per episode :) And they had sex wayyyy more times than that! But when did they have a proper conversation???? Oh wait... let me think... never! Oh of course silly me... in Elena's flashbacks, the flashbacks that the writers literally pulled out of their arse! And the conversations were they talked about Stefan... which is mostly all of them. Now that is LOVE LOVE LOVE!
"Damon has been hurt so many times in his life... my poor baby!!!" You're talking about a full grown man who's the own maker of his life's failures. I don't see anything good about him. Oh wait... he saves Elena... and how does him saving Elena make it any different to when everyone else saved her? Elena is the most rescued character in all the TV shows I've watched. It got to a point were I wished she just died already, and now that she's finally gone we'll still have Damon talking about her 24/7. This show used to be good, now it's just a boring excuse for entertainment. The only thing that's still good is the acting. The plot is crap, it has sooo many storylines that just doesn't connect, the writing is crap and makes no sense. I read somewhere before that someone said "I don't think the writers read their own scripts" and I think it's true! They change their minds more than Elena changes hers.
The sad thing is though is that the show had and has some amazing characters like Bonnie, Matt, Silas, Qetsiyah, the Originals, but all they focused on was the boring love triangle. It was like Twilight! They have a boring lead female and gave her two love interests. I knew they were not going to follow the books so why did they carry the love triangle on for so long? And when the love triangle was finally "resolved" they gave us a shit, toxic relationship which the Delena fans calls "True Love", as if! Nobody deserves that type of "love". Good job Elena on picking an abusive, controlling, serial killer, who has your best interests at heart. Let's see... you want to make your own decisions? Sorry I'm not the man for you on that. Oh I see... you don't want to be a vampire? Sorry I can't hear you as I put my bleeding wrist into your mouth. What was that... you want to be human? just because it was the universe was telling stelena they should be together i dont think that is the reason they were together elena clearly was in love with stefan b4 they knew they were dopplegangers and if elena didnt become a vampire her feelings would have been magnified for damon and also if she didnt drink damons blood she wouldnt have been sired to him and she also probaly would have still been with stefan they were eachothers epic love. and if damon didnt compell elena to forget everything i think she probaly still would have been with stefan because he saved her when her parents died and was there for her b4 damon when she needed someone the most and he was always there for her when she was upset and even when they broke up many times he was still there for her. Also when they broke up for good and she went to damon, stefan was still there for her trying to keep her safe. stefan and Elena have an epic relationship. in seasons 1&2, their relationship is so real and adorable. stefan came back to live a normal life and damon really messed that up. admit it, everyone loved stefan one time and another. y'all think Stefan is too safe and boring but he's not. he and lexi were dare-Devils they weren't boring and they could still be the same again. Paul Wesley even said anything is possible in this show and to not get comfortable with any character placement. the main thing that pulls stefan and Elena is Stefan loosing his humanity and if that happened to damon it would also pull them apart. Stefan and Elena just need another chance. I'm not gonna bash a couple, but elena needs to think about Stefan, not herself. when Stefan died she didn't even care when damon died she couldn't control herself. Damon can't handle whenever elena breaks up with him but Stefan's delt with it so many times his heart is shattered. when Elena wanted to be friends with damon he said no Stefan said yes. it's just not fair Damon can't deal with anything. team Stelena for life...❤️❤️❤️

Damon and Elena. I mean, Stefan - he's adorable and I love Paul Wesley, but he is and I quote: 'The safe brother'. Safe in every aspect of their relationship. I mean, he doesn't take risks with her, he pushes her away when he gets the smallest fucking drop of blood, and doesn't even seem to be trying. And I agree, the most romantic thing, would be loving someone unconditionally, not just because you were fated to be together and it's 'destiny'. I have never seen a couple on TV that had chemistry when they were not together, and then when they were together the chemistry was like gone. Delena has no chemistry anymore. It's really pathetic. Especially because the two actors who make them had a relationship in real life.
I have been team Stelena since the very first episode and it's pretty obvious that they are endgame. It started out as their epic love story, and it has always been said by Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson that Damon is just the third point of the triangle. He is there to make is more interesting.
This season is most definitely Delena's season (even though I am literally laughing my ass off at how the writers keep bashing Delena, it's hilarious) but in the end Stelena will be reunited.

Personally I love Damon and Elena together, as selfish as Damon seems in the beginning, the more you watch the more you realize he is the most selfless on there. In season 3 in the finale, she said "Maybe if I had met you first," Well, it turns out she did meet him first. He loved her instantly, and even then all he wanted was for her to have everything she possibly desired. Yet, did he tell Elena this? No! He allowed her to do what made her happy, even if that meant not having her. As many times as she has hit him, rejected him, and told him there was absolutely no hope, he has NEVER stopped trying to win her love. Yet, the minute Stefan gets a taste of human blood he immediatley starts trying to push her away. Besides, if you watch the episode where it explains Katherine, Damon had Katherine first. Problem was, Katherine ended up falling for Stefan, and had to compel Damon just to get rid of him. Being with Damon would be the most un-Katherine thing Elena could do. Also this stuff about Stefan being a saint and Damon being the monster is absolutely backwards. Is Damon perfect? No. But neither is Stefan. Damon would have never let Elena die in that car. Ever. Damon has always said he'd choose Elena, yet what did Stefan do? And he deserves her more than the man who would have never let her drown? What about the fact that Stefan endangered Elena's life just to fool Klaus? Why does everyone forget that Stefan has had his evil moments? But I'm sorry, as evil as Damon can be occasionally, it wasn't directed at Elena. Almost always the root of his anger and wrath is caused by the fact he can never have her. Which is why during season three when he felt he had a chance, he was "changing" and becoming more of the hero figure. Damon is logical when it comes to Elena. The first to say, "Um, no you are not going in that house and endangering yourself." etc. Stefan allows her to do every little thing she wants and follows through with everything she says (like saving Matt over herself) That kind of attitude shows lack of concern for her well-being, and that isnt love. She may love Stefan, but Stefan will never love her as much as Damon does. I wanna see if the tables were turned, and if Stefan had to work for something that seemed impossible, would he? Damon has proved on multiple occasions he would. He is evil because he feels that is all he is good at. For instance he told Stefan that he knew elena didn't want him, immediatley after he says "I'm better at being the bad guy anyways.". This is his way of covering up the fact that it hurts him, and to hide the fact that he cares. Also, when Alaric was about to kill Damon in the storage, Damon found his strength by remembering the first moment he ever saw Elena. That gave him strength to fight back. And isnt it sad that Stefan had absolutely no idea Elena would come back and he let her die anyways? Anytime Damon "threatened" Elena's life he always made sure to feed her so he KNEW she would come back to him. As sick as that is, it is love. I know that if I felt I might lose the one I love, and I had the ability to prevent that, I know I would. So I know I kind of went on a rant here, but I just think that people should stop demonizing Damon, and see the situation from all perspectives. Damon deserves her just as much if not more so

1) elena is stefans girlfriend and damon and stefan are supposed to be brothers + that would be really wrong of elena to do that on stefan especially with his brother

Damo/Elena all the way! I mean, the first few episodes I was like "Damon is a jerk!" but I realized he really cares about her in the episode Friday Night Bites when they are talking in the kitchen and then again when he's caressing her cheek while she's sleeping. It really hit me though that she liked him when she's guilty about lying to him about the grimoire and when she says they have an understanding. Overall, the chemistry betwween them is astounding. I mean, yes, she loves stefen but the passion and fire with her and Damon is impossible to ignore.

love the one with the long post especially when it made perfect sense.if you dont have that spark or chemistry with someone in the beginning can you imagine spending all of eternity together.im hoping the writers will eventually give us what the obious majority want and thats damon and elena together even if we have to wait a couple of seasons to get it.i can not wait for the scene when elena looks into damons eyes and realizes that she cant deny anymore the IT FACTOR these two have. i want her to look at him with love and fear all at once.the fear of knowing that she knows she cant deny it anymore that she doesnt want to deny it anymore.i want to see the look in damons eyes when he realizes that the light bulb finally went on in elenas head and that he is loved not only loved but loved by her.i want that kiss to be like its been 150 years in waiting. i want tears running down both thier faces and feel their hearts beating through the tv.id like to see damon be gentle yet almost out of control touching her.kinda what it looks like in real life with these two.please writers please let stefan have won the love of katherine over damon in the past but please let damon win the love of elena in the present.make it a little realistic please who would pick bobble head stefan over hot ass eyes damon. like he said last show he is a work in progress a fine ass piece of work i would finally like to see get the love he deserves. goody boy stefan is the one that made damon have this eternal existance.only fair he should finally be happy.we all saw the sparks when they were dancing looking at each other and they were not even touching each other.can you imagine when they do put their hands all over each other.EPIC. the obvious boring choice and road the show would take is if she ends up with stefan cause he is the GOOD brother.i would like to see a women realize that she doesnt have to take the safe boring road cause he wil never hurt her bs but instead take the road that seems unknown but in your true heart is nothing but known . known to be your true self not who you think you should be but instead who you know you really are and what your really are and what you really are is in love with damon.stefan is not the edward in this relationship he is the safe boring what people think better choice of jacob. but like in twilight bella and jacob are like so sparks kissing. damon is the edward. the true love. the chemistry. even when he was kissing katherine and we all thought is was elena the build up was orgasmic.i dont knowabout you but im ready for some more orgasms but between the real two this time.watching stefan and elena are like not quite reaching climax like doing all the work for nothind a big waste of time i dont have time to waste so please even if i have to wait please get damon and elena together in the end. the end result is what matters.sorry so long but i really love this fucking show

i truely believe that elena and damon should be together. i mean think about it..he's the brother who is always getting screwed over. katherine toyed with him when she really loved stephen..when damon really loved her. every time i turn on this show im reminded that stephen seems to always get his happiness while damon is left in the dark. wth!! its about time he got something..damon might be unstable and without humanity but look at what he has dealt with in his lifetime..betrayal not only from his brother but also from the woman he loved. i believe that stephen should suffer a little..maybe it would allow him to see that some people need savior more than he does. besides stephen and elena story is so boring..they meet..they fall in love..the end. where's the excitement? where is the day to day catastrophe that occurs in life? that never happens in real life..you dont just meet someone and everything falls into place within a matter of months. anyways this is just my opinion..i believe that damon deserves some happiness too.

Despite being extremely hot and sexy, and despite all the chemistry, I would choose Stefan, because everything thas happened in their past. Stefan is sensitive, loves Elena (and not just because she looks like Katherine), he suffers because he is the way he is and that can harm the people he loves and so on... Damon has very bad past and present, killing everybody that is against his interests.
So, my vote is for Stefan, for a serious relation. However I'd love to have an adventure with his delicious and dangerous brother Damon.

i can't believe what kind of immature crap people are saying. i understand how someone could be rooting really hard for a couple /i am, too/, but it's not cool to just bash other couples just because you can't deal with the possibility of your favourites not ending up together.
anyway, i voted for damon. and not because he's hot, or funny, or just there's a great chemistry between ian and nina, that's a given. you have to be blind to even consider paul and nina having as much chemistry - it's not humanly possible. however, for me it never takes more than one/two scenes to realize if there is something more to a couple and i'm going to watch it through good and bad and never give up. there's just something, i don't even know what, in the pit of my stomach when i watch them that make me feel right about them. make me know they'll be epic and that they ARE epic. damon and elena are this for me. EPIC. and i'd like to point how freaking shallow is to say it's just another bad boy/good girl love story, because if you ever looked even the tiniest bit deeper in the show you'd see that that's not it. damon is not just a bad boy, i'm not sure if he even fits in the stupid stereotype, because the bad boy has always just been the cool-handsome-listens-to-hard-rock/metal-steals-a-car-drinks-some-alcohol-at-17 guy and damon is nothing like that. there is so much MORE to him. first of all, he kills people, he's a FUCKING vampire, people! ofc he does that and it's not just a bad boy's act. he enjoys doing it. why? because he never asked for any of these. he didn't want to become a vampire in the first place. it was stefan, who forced him to drink the blood, just because he himself wasn't strong enough to not fucking drink his father. all he wanted was katherine, the woman he thought loved him back, and if you have eternity why not free her? even if stefan told him how he can switch off all the pain and stuff, damon still wanted to be with her. and it was not like someone else said - obsession. he just loved her, but being a vampire, switching emotions off, it becomes easy to kill, especially if don't feel remorse anymore and the whole time you were inlove with and doing it for a woman who did it all the time. what i think is that the longer he searched for a way to free katherine, the more he became like her. but deep down /i'll use a book reference for those who haven't read them, because i find it very suitable/ inside that stone-hard boulder he puts everything he doesn't want to feel in, he's still the same guy, who wants and needs to be loved. and after his world was shattered when katherine wasn't in the tomb, the only one who got through him was elena. she was the only able to see the real him, behind all the drinking and sorrority girls and whatever. besides, damon never wanted elena because she looked like katherine. at first, he wanted to seduce her to get back at stefan, but it never mattered to him so much, as it did with stefan. if she hadn't looked like katherine, stefan wouldn't have been interested in the least bit in stalking her all her life and saving her from the accident. he would've never 'had to know her'. and as moved on as stefan looks, he's more hung up than damon/especially now that damon knows katherine never wanted/loved him, he's completely sobered up from her/. because damon understood from the very beginning that elena is nothing like katherine/that's why he was so sad the last episode when elena manipulated him and he realized she can be mean, too/, that's why he didn't feel the need to ever lie to her about katherine, like stefan did. damon's feelings for elena were slowly evolving with him getting to know her, seeing that she's not like katherine. whereas stefan was instantly inlove with her the moment he even laid eyes on her and that's why stelena never got any build-up. i think it is relevant to the story to see the difference between the progress with the two relationships and how different they are.

Ok, Damon, Damon and Damon... I have nothing against Elena and Stefan, you know, I like Stefan's way. We all know that Elena can trust him, that she is safe with him, and that he'll hardly hurt her. If I were Elena, and that show wasn't a show, if it was real life, I would choose Stefan, of course. Nobody wants to date a psycho. Buuut, it is a show, and we want exciting scenes. Damon is a complicated person, I mean, criature... He has so much love, and sadness, and anger and madness all together inside him that makes him one of the most interesting characters of now a days. Damon has humanity? Yeaah, even he doesn't show this to much. But I still belive that he feels something strong for Elena, and she does the same for him. I still belive that at least one time he'll be the most human we can and cannot imagine, and just for a single reason: Elena. So, team Delena.

Damon And Elena together is the definition of unconditional love. If they were to be together they would love each other no matter what they have done in their life. Damon makes Elena more alive and fun and Elena brings out the humanity in Damon. They didnt just spot eachother and decide to be soulmates, they started out hating each other then became friends developing a friendship while learning ore about each others personalities.

Elena and Damon. These two have the most incredible intense scenes and dialogue. There is never a dull moment between them and the chemistry is out of this world. They are smokin' hot.
I am an absolute stelena fan! I mean I won't lie, I love damon and Elena together they have chemistry and do a lot good for each other. But at the end of the I would 100% choose stelena, Stefan to me is the "perfect" guy. He is caring, romantic, gentle and he can COOK, like what's NOT to love?
All I want is for Stelena to happen again. The writers need to stop trying to make Steroline happen like it doesn't seem right, it just looks so forced. There better of as friends. I could probably tolerate if Delena was end game but if they make steroline endgame the whole show will be ruined for me. Caroline is better with Klaus, they actually have chemistry

I really don't understand Delena's relationship at all. No chemistry there for me. I cringe when I see them together. They were and still are one of the worst parings in TV history. And the word worst is pretty much canon for them, "Damon is either the best thing for her, or the worst" even Elena said that Damon IS the worst decision she could ever make but she still chose him. Then why say it you stupid cow?? And by the way I loved their relationship when they were actually together. Yeah their break ups were sooooo entertaining! Oh of course silly me... in Elena's flashbacks, the flashbacks that the writers literally pulled out of their arse! And the conversations were they talked about Stefan... which is mostly all of them. It got to a point were I wished she just died already, and now that she's finally gone we'll still have Damon talking about her 24/7. This show used to be good, now it's just a boring excuse for entertainment. The only thing that's still good is the acting. The plot is crap, it has sooo many storylines that just doesn't connect, the writing is crap and makes no sense. I read somewhere before that someone said "I don't think the writers read their own scripts" and I think it's true! They change their minds more than Elena changes hers.
The sad thing is though is that the show had and has some amazing characters like Bonnie, Matt, Silas, Qetsiyah, the Originals, but all they focused on was the boring love triangle. It was like Twilight! They have a boring lead female and gave her two love interests. I knew they were not going to follow the books so why did they carry the love triangle on for so long? And when the love triangle was finally "resolved" they gave us a shit, toxic relationship which the Delena fans calls "True Love", as if! Nobody deserves that type of "love". Good job Elena on picking an abusive, controlling, serial killer, who has your best interests at heart. Let's see... you want to make your own decisions? Sorry I'm not the man for you on that. stefan and Elena have an epic relationship. in seasons 1&2, their relationship is so real and adorable. stefan came back to live a normal life and damon really messed that up. admit it, everyone loved stefan one time and another. y'all think Stefan is too safe and boring but he's not. he and lexi were dare-Devils they weren't boring and they could still be the same again. Paul Wesley even said anything is possible in this show and to not get comfortable with any character placement. the main thing that pulls stefan and Elena is Stefan loosing his humanity and if that happened to damon it would also pull them apart. Damon and Elena are a true love story. They make sense, we watched them grow, we understand why they happened. Stelena was too rushed and they seem more like friends. I love Stefan (particularly with Caroline).

I have been team Stelena since the very first episode and it's pretty obvious that they are endgame. It started out as their epic love story, and it has always been said by Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson that Damon is just the third point of the triangle. He is there to make is more interesting.
This season is most definitely Delena's season (even though I am literally laughing my ass off at how the writers keep bashing Delena, it's hilarious) but in the end Stelena will be reunited.

Why is everyone saying "She is with Ian, that should be enough."? Ian and Nina are NOT Damon and Elena. It has absolutely nothing to do with their personal life. So youre saying if real life Elena and Stefan were together, than Stefan wouldn't deserve her because he had her in real life? No, so quit using that as an excuse to defend Elena and Stefan's relationship. Damon and Elena should be together.
Personally I love Damon and Elena together, as selfish as Damon seems in the beginning, the more you watch the more you realize he is the most selfless on there. In season 3 in the finale, she said "Maybe if I had met you first," Well, it turns out she did meet him first. He loved her instantly, and even then all he wanted was for her to have everything she possibly desired. Yet, did he tell Elena this? No! He allowed her to do what made her happy, even if that meant not having her. As many times as she has hit him, rejected him, and told him there was absolutely no hope, he has NEVER stopped trying to win her love. Yet, the minute Stefan gets a taste of human blood he immediatley starts trying to push her away. Besides, if you watch the episode where it explains Katherine, Damon had Katherine first. Problem was, Katherine ended up falling for Stefan, and had to compel Damon just to get rid of him. Being with Damon would be the most un-Katherine thing Elena could do. Also this stuff about Stefan being a saint and Damon being the monster is absolutely backwards. Is Damon perfect? No. But neither is Stefan. Damon would have never let Elena die in that car. Ever. Damon has always said he'd choose Elena, yet what did Stefan do? And he deserves her more than the man who would have never let her drown? What about the fact that Stefan endangered Elena's life just to fool Klaus? Why does everyone forget that Stefan has had his evil moments? But I'm sorry, as evil as Damon can be occasionally, it wasn't directed at Elena. Almost always the root of his anger and wrath is caused by the fact he can never have her. Which is why during season three when he felt he had a chance, he was "changing" and becoming more of the hero figure. Damon is logical when it comes to Elena. The first to say, "Um, no you are not going in that house and endangering yourself." etc. Stefan allows her to do every little thing she wants and follows through with everything she says (like saving Matt over herself) That kind of attitude shows lack of concern for her well-being, and that isnt love. She may love Stefan, but Stefan will never love her as much as Damon does. I wanna see if the tables were turned, and if Stefan had to work for something that seemed impossible, would he? Damon has proved on multiple occasions he would. He is evil because he feels that is all he is good at. For instance he told Stefan that he knew elena didn't want him, immediatley after he says "I'm better at being the bad guy anyways.". This is his way of covering up the fact that it hurts him, and to hide the fact that he cares. Also, when Alaric was about to kill Damon in the storage, Damon found his strength by remembering the first moment he ever saw Elena. That gave him strength to fight back. And isnt it sad that Stefan had absolutely no idea Elena would come back and he let her die anyways? Anytime Damon "threatened" Elena's life he always made sure to feed her so he KNEW she would come back to him. As sick as that is, it is love. I know that if I felt I might lose the one I love, and I had the ability to prevent that, I know I would. So I know I kind of went on a rant here, but I just think that people should stop demonizing Damon, and see the situation from all perspectives. Damon deserves her just as much if not more so

I mean, the first few episodes I was like "Damon is a jerk!" but I realized he really cares about her in the episode Friday Night Bites when they are talking in the kitchen and then again when he's caressing her cheek while she's sleeping. It really hit me though that she liked him when she's guilty about lying to him about the grimoire and when she says they have an understanding. Overall, the chemistry betwween them is astounding. I mean, yes, she loves stefen but the passion and fire with her and Damon is impossible to ignore.

anyway, i voted for damon. and not because he's hot, or funny, or just there's a great chemistry between ian and nina, that's a given. you have to be blind to even consider paul and nina having as much chemistry - it's not humanly possible. however, for me it never takes more than one/two scenes to realize if there is something more to a couple and i'm going to watch it through good and bad and never give up. there's just something, i don't even know what, in the pit of my stomach when i watch them that make me feel right about them. make me know they'll be epic and that they ARE epic. damon and elena are this for me. EPIC. and i'd like to point how freaking shallow is to say it's just another bad boy/good girl love story, because if you ever looked even the tiniest bit deeper in the show you'd see that that's not it. damon is not just a bad boy, i'm not sure if he even fits in the stupid stereotype, because the bad boy has always just been the cool-handsome-listens-to-hard-rock/metal-steals-a-car-drinks-some-alcohol-at-17 guy and damon is nothing like that. there is so much MORE to him. first of all, he kills people, he's a FUCKING vampire, people! ofc he does that and it's not just a bad boy's act. he enjoys doing it. why? because he never asked for any of these. he didn't want to become a vampire in the first place. it was stefan, who forced him to drink the blood, just because he himself wasn't strong enough to not fucking drink his father. all he wanted was katherine, the woman he thought loved him back, and if you have eternity why not free her? even if stefan told him how he can switch off all the pain and stuff, damon still wanted to be with her. and it was not like someone else said - obsession. he just loved her, but being a vampire, switching emotions off, it becomes easy to kill, especially if don't feel remorse anymore and the whole time you were inlove with and doing it for a woman who did it all the time. what i think is that the longer he searched for a way to free katherine, the more he became like her. but deep down /i'll use a book reference for those who haven't read them, because i find it very suitable/ inside that stone-hard boulder he puts everything he doesn't want to feel in, he's still the same guy, who wants and needs to be loved. and after his world was shattered when katherine wasn't in the tomb, the only one who got through him was elena. she was the only able to see the real him, behind all the drinking and sorrority girls and whatever. besides, damon never wanted elena because she looked like katherine. at first, he wanted to seduce her to get back at stefan, but it never mattered to him so much, as it did with stefan. if she hadn't looked like katherine, stefan wouldn't have been interested in the least bit in stalking her all her life and saving her from the accident. he would've never 'had to know her'. and as moved on as stefan looks, he's more hung up than damon/especially now that damon knows katherine never wanted/loved him, he's completely sobered up from her/. because damon understood from the very beginning that elena is nothing like katherine/that's why he was so sad the last episode when elena manipulated him and he realized she can be mean, too/, that's why he didn't feel the need to ever lie to her about katherine, like stefan did. damon's feelings for elena were slowly evolving with him getting to know her, seeing that she's not like katherine. whereas stefan was instantly inlove with her the moment he even laid eyes on her and that's why stelena never got any build-up. i think it is relevant to the story to see the difference between the progress with the two relationships and how different they are.

Elena met Damon before she fell in love with Stefan might i remind you and she choose Stefan, she likes Damon and she is grateful to him for saving her life but if Stefan hadn't pull Elena from the car in the lake Elena would not be alive today, when Elena found out that it was Stefan who saved her from the accident that bonded them together for ever.

This is a guy who couldn't give her ten feet of space when she'd made her feelings clear. He spent 150 years pining for some other girl he was obsessed with. He's clingy and obsessive and unstable. She hasn't done anything to deserve being paired up with that immature psycho.

Damon And Elena together is the definition of unconditional love. If they were to be together they would love each other no matter what they have done in their life. Damon makes Elena more alive and fun and Elena brings out the humanity in Damon. They didnt just spot eachother and decide to be soulmates, they started out hating each other then became friends developing a friendship while learning ore about each others personalities.
Stafan and Elena, because it is closer to reality. Delena it's like cliche! There're everywhere in show/book/movie couples good girl+bad boy. Bad boys is just only fashion. Everybody loves them because it is cool and because their friends love them. Such people form ruck.
I'm not the part of this. I like normal, beautiful relationships and good boys. You shouldn't change him. He's already the best for you. Like Stefan. Elena fills comfortable with him. And Damon is unstable. And he'll be unstable always. He's hysteric type of man. Of course you prefer to see everything through rose-coloured spectacles and believe that such persons as Damon can change forever. But if Elena will do smth wrong, he'll do the same as earlier. And he won't change. It's reallity. But this show ment to escape people from reallity! So, common, believe in a fairy taile on shows and persuade yourself that you cnow that it's only a show!
