Why is everyone saying "She is with Ian, that should be enough."? Ian and Nina are NOT Damon and Elena. It has absolutely nothing to do with their personal life. So youre saying if real life Elena and Stefan were together, than Stefan wouldn't deserve her because he had her in real life? No, so quit using that as an excuse to defend Elena and Stefan's relationship. Damon and Elena should be together.
Personally I love Damon and Elena together, as selfish as Damon seems in the beginning, the more you watch the more you realize he is the most selfless on there. In season 3 in the finale, she said "Maybe if I had met you first," Well, it turns out she did meet him first. He loved her instantly, and even then all he wanted was for her to have everything she possibly desired. Yet, did he tell Elena this? No! He allowed her to do what made her happy, even if that meant not having her. As many times as she has hit him, rejected him, and told him there was absolutely no hope, he has NEVER stopped trying to win her love. Yet, the minute Stefan gets a taste of human blood he immediatley starts trying to push her away. Besides, if you watch the episode where it explains Katherine, Damon had Katherine first. Problem was, Katherine ended up falling for Stefan, and had to compel Damon just to get rid of him. Being with Damon would be the most un-Katherine thing Elena could do. Also this stuff about Stefan being a saint and Damon being the monster is absolutely backwards. Is Damon perfect? No. But neither is Stefan. Damon would have never let Elena die in that car. Ever. Damon has always said he'd choose Elena, yet what did Stefan do? And he deserves her more than the man who would have never let her drown? What about the fact that Stefan endangered Elena's life just to fool Klaus? Why does everyone forget that Stefan has had his evil moments? But I'm sorry, as evil as Damon can be occasionally, it wasn't directed at Elena. Almost always the root of his anger and wrath is caused by the fact he can never have her. Which is why during season three when he felt he had a chance, he was "changing" and becoming more of the hero figure. Damon is logical when it comes to Elena. The first to say, "Um, no you are not going in that house and endangering yourself." etc. Stefan allows her to do every little thing she wants and follows through with everything she says (like saving Matt over herself) That kind of attitude shows lack of concern for her well-being, and that isnt love. She may love Stefan, but Stefan will never love her as much as Damon does. I wanna see if the tables were turned, and if Stefan had to work for something that seemed impossible, would he? Damon has proved on multiple occasions he would. He is evil because he feels that is all he is good at. For instance he told Stefan that he knew elena didn't want him, immediatley after he says "I'm better at being the bad guy anyways.". This is his way of covering up the fact that it hurts him, and to hide the fact that he cares. Also, when Alaric was about to kill Damon in the storage, Damon found his strength by remembering the first moment he ever saw Elena. That gave him strength to fight back. And isnt it sad that Stefan had absolutely no idea Elena would come back and he let her die anyways? Anytime Damon "threatened" Elena's life he always made sure to feed her so he KNEW she would come back to him. As sick as that is, it is love. I know that if I felt I might lose the one I love, and I had the ability to prevent that, I know I would. So I know I kind of went on a rant here, but I just think that people should stop demonizing Damon, and see the situation from all perspectives. Damon deserves her just as much if not more so
i think it should be stefan!! i am a huge stelena fan!!! but its there choice guyz. But stefen is good for her because whenever elena picks him its because his love is pure. wouldnt u want a boyfriend who has pure love. damon always goes crazy when elena chooses stefan. And they are together in real life give stelena a chance because u aint happy with her and stefan look at the big picture. in real life she is with ian. isnt that enough for delena fans god. plz choose stepfen sorry for bad english! Teaaam delena of course! Elena reminds damon of katherine my ass. Stefan is the reminder one, because when he is talking to katherine you see the emotions through his skin, that he is still hurt and upset with her, and that she still loves him! I think Elena and Damon are PERFECT together... I have nothing against Stefan, but he and Elena are really so boring together. Damon's a fantastic guy, he just has had many disappointments... poor sweet vampire!! I LOVE HIM, and Delena must has a chance. i think that elena and stefan suit really well together personally damon and elena could be really great best friends but i think thats as far as it should go..
1) elena is stefans girlfriend and damon and stefan are supposed to be brothers + that would be really wrong of elena to do that on stefan especially with his brother
2) if damon and elena ended up together soon people would get bored and complain and say that elena and stefan should be together because although damon and elena were hot together in one of the scenes (although that was katherine ) thats really all that people can say about their relationship

Damo/Elena all the way! I mean, the first few episodes I was like "Damon is a jerk!" but I realized he really cares about her in the episode Friday Night Bites when they are talking in the kitchen and then again when he's caressing her cheek while she's sleeping. It really hit me though that she liked him when she's guilty about lying to him about the grimoire and when she says they have an understanding. Overall, the chemistry betwween them is astounding. I mean, yes, she loves stefen but the passion and fire with her and Damon is impossible to ignore.

i truely believe that elena and damon should be together. i mean think about it..he's the brother who is always getting screwed over. katherine toyed with him when she really loved stephen..when damon really loved her. every time i turn on this show im reminded that stephen seems to always get his happiness while damon is left in the dark. wth!! its about time he got something..damon might be unstable and without humanity but look at what he has dealt with in his lifetime..betrayal not only from his brother but also from the woman he loved. i believe that stephen should suffer a little..maybe it would allow him to see that some people need savior more than he does. besides stephen and elena story is so boring..they meet..they fall in love..the end. where's the excitement? where is the day to day catastrophe that occurs in life? that never happens in real life..you dont just meet someone and everything falls into place within a matter of months. anyways this is just my opinion..i believe that damon deserves some happiness too.

Despite being extremely hot and sexy, and despite all the chemistry, I would choose Stefan, because everything thas happened in their past. Stefan is sensitive, loves Elena (and not just because she looks like Katherine), he suffers because he is the way he is and that can harm the people he loves and so on... Damon has very bad past and present, killing everybody that is against his interests.
So, my vote is for Stefan, for a serious relation. However I'd love to have an adventure with his delicious and dangerous brother Damon.

anyway, i just wanted to say that no matter what happens in the end damon and elena will always be more real and true than stefan/elena to me.
i can't believe what kind of immature crap people are saying. i understand how someone could be rooting really hard for a couple /i am, too/, but it's not cool to just bash other couples just because you can't deal with the possibility of your favourites not ending up together.
anyway, i voted for damon. and not because he's hot, or funny, or just there's a great chemistry between ian and nina, that's a given. you have to be blind to even consider paul and nina having as much chemistry - it's not humanly possible. however, for me it never takes more than one/two scenes to realize if there is something more to a couple and i'm going to watch it through good and bad and never give up. there's just something, i don't even know what, in the pit of my stomach when i watch them that make me feel right about them. make me know they'll be epic and that they ARE epic. damon and elena are this for me. EPIC. and i'd like to point how freaking shallow is to say it's just another bad boy/good girl love story, because if you ever looked even the tiniest bit deeper in the show you'd see that that's not it. damon is not just a bad boy, i'm not sure if he even fits in the stupid stereotype, because the bad boy has always just been the cool-handsome-listens-to-hard-rock/metal-steals-a-car-drinks-some-alcohol-at-17 guy and damon is nothing like that. there is so much MORE to him. first of all, he kills people, he's a FUCKING vampire, people! ofc he does that and it's not just a bad boy's act. he enjoys doing it. why? because he never asked for any of these. he didn't want to become a vampire in the first place. it was stefan, who forced him to drink the blood, just because he himself wasn't strong enough to not fucking drink his father. all he wanted was katherine, the woman he thought loved him back, and if you have eternity why not free her? even if stefan told him how he can switch off all the pain and stuff, damon still wanted to be with her. and it was not like someone else said - obsession. he just loved her, but being a vampire, switching emotions off, it becomes easy to kill, especially if don't feel remorse anymore and the whole time you were inlove with and doing it for a woman who did it all the time. what i think is that the longer he searched for a way to free katherine, the more he became like her. but deep down /i'll use a book reference for those who haven't read them, because i find it very suitable/ inside that stone-hard boulder he puts everything he doesn't want to feel in, he's still the same guy, who wants and needs to be loved. and after his world was shattered when katherine wasn't in the tomb, the only one who got through him was elena. she was the only able to see the real him, behind all the drinking and sorrority girls and whatever. besides, damon never wanted elena because she looked like katherine. at first, he wanted to seduce her to get back at stefan, but it never mattered to him so much, as it did with stefan. if she hadn't looked like katherine, stefan wouldn't have been interested in the least bit in stalking her all her life and saving her from the accident. he would've never 'had to know her'. and as moved on as stefan looks, he's more hung up than damon/especially now that damon knows katherine never wanted/loved him, he's completely sobered up from her/. because damon understood from the very beginning that elena is nothing like katherine/that's why he was so sad the last episode when elena manipulated him and he realized she can be mean, too/, that's why he didn't feel the need to ever lie to her about katherine, like stefan did. damon's feelings for elena were slowly evolving with him getting to know her, seeing that she's not like katherine. whereas stefan was instantly inlove with her the moment he even laid eyes on her and that's why stelena never got any build-up. i think it is relevant to the story to see the difference between the progress with the two relationships and how different they are.

surely the best couple on tvd is elena & damon. i mean, stefan is cute. but he's too cute. actually his cuteness is kinda boring. but damon, oh gosh, damon is like everything a girl need. he's pretty, and funny, and mysterious, and sexy and have that voice and that smile. btw, i think elena is more like herself when she's near damon.

Damon And Elena together is the definition of unconditional love. If they were to be together they would love each other no matter what they have done in their life. Damon makes Elena more alive and fun and Elena brings out the humanity in Damon. They didnt just spot eachother and decide to be soulmates, they started out hating each other then became friends developing a friendship while learning ore about each others personalities.
Stafan and Elena, because it is closer to reality. Delena it's like cliche! There're everywhere in show/book/movie couples good girl+bad boy. Bad boys is just only fashion. Everybody loves them because it is cool and because their friends love them. Such people form ruck.
I'm not the part of this. I like normal, beautiful relationships and good boys. You shouldn't change him. He's already the best for you. Like Stefan. Elena fills comfortable with him. And Damon is unstable. And he'll be unstable always. He's hysteric type of man. Of course you prefer to see everything through rose-coloured spectacles and believe that such persons as Damon can change forever. But if Elena will do smth wrong, he'll do the same as earlier. And he won't change. It's reallity. But this show ment to escape people from reallity! So, common, believe in a fairy taile on shows and persuade yourself that you cnow that it's only a show!
Elena and Damon. These two have the most incredible intense scenes and dialogue. There is never a dull moment between them and the chemistry is out of this world. They are smokin' hot.

I believe that Elena should be with Damon, partly because as Stefan describes he feels something for her and Damon hasn't felt something for a long time. Another reason is because, Damon is also fun, loving and has a charming smile. He is a joker and he cares about Elena when they went to Gorgia. He has never tried to compel her (Except for the early season when he wants to get back at Stefan only in the end to get slapped:/) Damon runs in front of Elena to take an arrow and when he gets told by Elena that they won't be friends anymore he looked absolutely heartbroken :( (There, there Damon).
Now if a vampire like that ever do that for me I would take him. But if Stefan goes with Elena then I'll take Damon :D
I think thatElena Must choose Damon because is the one out of the two Salvatore brothers with whom she really can be herself. She really exploits all her potential when Damon is around. She is a different person, she stops being a victim and show she has courage and that is brave and tht sometimes when ecesary she can also be selfish.
I think that is obvious elena is denying how much does she already love Damon...she is being quite stuborn about him...and I think that Damon has more rediming questions than Stefan and he is even more sincere...Stefan tries too hard to bury what he really is while Damon actually recognize his real self and tryes to deal with that in order to win Elena's heart And Also Elena must choose Damon because he is way too much hot than Stefan ;-)
I don't really have a problem with Stefan and Elena together. I just feel Damon and Elena is so much more natural. They are instinctually in tune with one another. They know when the other is lying and push each other to be honest with themselves. They are free to be their true selves with one another. They've hit a bump in their relationship, but I have no doubt that their natural draw to each other will win out. Their bond is strong and can obliterate all obstacles. Damon and Elena FTW! ♥ ♥ ♥
Damon & Elena are sooo cute! It just works... like Stefan & Caroline. Staroline are now my 2nd fav TVD couple :P
What's wrong with Stefan and Elena? In my opinion, they have at least as much chemistry as Damon and Elena, if not more. It's refreshing to see a relatively healthy relationship (all things considered) on TV. I find that more original than the bad boy/good girl pairing.

lets be honest, as much as i dnt hv anythng against Elena with Stefan, they blur next 2 Elena nd Damon. For me no pairing on TV is more beautiful 2 watch.

Damon is SO sweet on her! and Elena knows how to treat him, she isn't a pushover and her character really comes out and grows whenever she's around Damon...

Damon & Elena all the way. Stefan/Elena has to be one of the most boring couples I've ever watched on TV. They have no build up whatsoever... Where as with Damon/Elena, their relationship is excititing to watch and they actually have a build up.
