What do you think about Fenton's decision to purchase the old Republic Bank property downtown?

That’s great news. Lets keep moving forward on improving and promoting Fenton’s downtown.

It’s a bad decision. The Downtown Development Authority shouldn’t waste its money purchasing that property.

I’m glad the city is making efforts to improve the downtown. But it is a lot of money, so the city should be cautious.

I don’t have an opinion one way or the other.

I think that Fenton DDA needs to be more fiscally responsible to the city of Fenton. The DDA should not be spending money that is unnecessary. The DDA shouid try to sell the Republic Bank property and proceed from there. The DDA keeps shooting themselves in the foot with this thought process of, if we have the money we should spend it. Mr. Michael Burns is cashing checks his body cannot cash. I would like to know if he is a Fenton resident and if not he should step down from his position.
