Have you tried the cold turkey approach to potty training?

Potty training a child is not that difficult. Perhaps Mrs. Burke was looking for a quick fix, an untrained 2 year-old is not uncommon. I think she baby him a little to long. A good way to train is gradually introducing the potty which is what I did. My son was fully potty trained by 24 months, I sat the potty in the bathroom when he was 15 months and let him wonder what it was (since to him a nice new fixture) no pressure for him at all. When mommy goes to sit on her potty you can go and sit on yours, we did that for fun, after a while we graduated to pulling down his pants and going eureka it worked. By 24 months I wasn't carrying any extra clothes and by 30 months he had graduated to the big potty. Perhaps a little patience is needed in this area since children learn what they live.
