Tough call. We live just north of Toronto, Canada. We love both the pier and Ruby's and I hope to see them both again sometime but the color of the stack - just beautiful.
It was hard to choose but the Queen Mary two stack won because I liked the way the lighting played off the stacks. It made them glow as if they were lit from within... like Chinese lanterns!
We just keep clicking away, throwing away, and getting better and better! I hit slumps too, but I give it a rest and do something else for a while, then go find a new place discover and all sorts of fun things happen! BTW, have you ever noticed that it's the times when you haven't any camera that you find the best and greatest shots ever... ?
I absolutely love Ruby's.... because, if you look at it in a certain way, you see legs walking into the sea. Frankly, I am seriously taken by the brightness of the red and the various color gradations of all of the greens.
And I can both hear and smell the aroma of it with absolutely NO PROBLEM despite the fact that I am in the Rocky Mountains.
Very well done photo! And one, if I had the money, I would blow up to nearly fill a wall!
