There were 2 or 3 games when their starting 5 were all injured and their 6th man, they still pulled of a playoff run and 41 games that's impressive.

Obviously, Derick Rose gets the extension. I cant believe @straight shooter had the nerves to say D Rose had decent stats in last year's playoffs. He fucking averaged 27 points and 7 assists with about 4 rebounds and a couple steals. I don't know what D Rose you were talking about, but those are some fucking amazing stats! man all 3 pgs are diferent type and they fit their team very well!!! i would extend all of their contract.. if i am building my team, i would pick rose over the other 2 pgs even with wall on the board.. rose has freaking potential that we all tend to overseek. he is still 21 years old. 2 years in nba and already have 12 playoff experience.. that is what will create rose as a greatest player in the future.. remember rose score easily 18 ppg when the defense are never spreaded out. name one good shooter on bulls for the last 2 years that would not put dagger in other oppopents?? durant made westbrook better pg, trio all stars clearly made rondo better.. rose made himself better so watch out for this year, there is still no great scorer on this team yet..

Extend Westbrook: I think he is the most upside of the 3. Once he stops turning the ball over so much(which hopefully already started because the national team making him to stop over penetrating on drives) and settles into the PG spot he is going to be absolutely amazing. The Thunder wouldn't be the same without him...I expect them to be top 3 in the west this year.
Trade Rondo: I would love to see how he does on a team that isn't as talanted as Boston. Look at his playoff stats form 2 years ago, almost averaged a triple double the kid is sick. He shoots over 50%. But, Boston being as talanted as they are could get away with trading him for some more youth/draft picks. This team is going to have to start rebuilding in a couple of because of their age.
Cut Rose: Talent level is crazy. Unfortunately I havn't been able to see him play very often. So by default he is my last choice.

I would just like to remind you that people say that the Celts are too old, and that they really struggled offensively this past season. Rondo practically carried his team, especially in the earlier rounds of the playoffs. I'd take your challenge of putting Rose, and Rondo on each others team. Rando is a good player, but keep it real... although older, he's surrounded by some pretty good talent. He has the reliance of a solid post player in Garnet; a stone cold sniper from the outside in Allen; and a finisher in Pierce. When guarding Rando, a poison must be picked, but either way, he has good talent to disburse the ball to to assure the assist. The rebounding is a direct reflection of the size of Boston's front court. The team runs a good help defense, but Rando has the luxury to Roam on defense; players have to go through a lot of bid bodies to get to the rim, and although the knees aren't great, Garnett still is one of the best final lines of defense; requiring opposing teams to send more bodies to the rim to rebound while Roaming Rando is able to play back and acquire rebounds. The scoring is simple, he'll get you 14. Rose has nothing to match that over all team talent of Boston.
Give Rose more weapons then compare... the Bulls would have at least 10 less wins with Rando running the Bulls. Rose would play no worse than Rando on the Celtics, but Rando would not likely be able to meet all of the demands of a Rose playing for the Bulls!

Why would you trade Mr. Triple Double? The Celts are going back to the finals this season, and Rondo's going to be a big part of that. He also is one of the top leaders in steals. Sure he needs to work on his shooting, but he's needed for his basketball IQ, and PG leadership. It's a close call, D. Rose is great, but yes he also needs to work on his shooting, and he tends to get injured prone. I would extend Rondo, Trade Rose, and unfortunately cut Westbrook.

Athletically he is a beast (however, all three of these guys are) but he is a better scorer than the others. With Rondo, you can get more pieces, though i do not think he is a better talent than Westbrook, he is viewed as a leading PG in the leage by GMs. Westbrook is just the odd man out. Unfortunately, he plays with one of the 4 best players in the league (Kobe, Wade, Lebron-not in order) so you can't extend him.
