Pleeeeze don't be afraid to 'finely carve' the 1st Ammendment. If 'private property' or 'private activities' are to remain private, we absolutely MUST stop this sort of grotesque behavior. These folks used what was a PRIVATE activity, as a showcase for their position. I have NO problem with PUBLIC demonstrations of any kind. .that's what the freedom of speech ammendment is all about. However, when a person, or a group of persons crosses over into what is clearly 'private' territory, then it does become intentional infliction of damage. I am an ardent watcher, reader, and co-40 Days person. I'm with you on everything I've heard you say (yes, I do my own research), but I am afraid I must disagree vehemently with you on this one. The only thing that I can say that might get your attention, and cause you to re-think your position on this would be: Suppose your precious daughter who has special needs was at a playground, and while there, a group of eugenists came onto thePRIVATE property of the playground with signs, and screaming, "let's do the George Bernard Shaw thing, let's put a pillow over a 'couple of cells' ????? The Patriot Guard Riders are the one's you were referring to today as a "motorcycle gang." The Patriot Guard riders are over 200,000 strong nationally and they are from all walks of life. They not only stand between lunatics like Phelps and his brood during funerals, but they also attend and escort the remains of hundreds of veterans annually from all wars and they (we) render respect to those who deserve this nation's most grateful thanks during their final ride to the here after.
