It is the Judge's courtroom. He has the right to run it as he sees fit. Again, much ado about nothing.

The real message of the pledge is mindless conformity to arbitrary authority. As such it is unamerican and contemptible.

What do you say about Obama reporters who ignore the pledge of allegience in this YouTube clip?

The Pledge should be recited not just in court but also in public schools . That lawyer should think about in what nation he's practicing , a nation with liberty and justice, not in Paquistan . He's practicing in the wrong career. He can go and protest or /and practice in the aforementioned country. Same goes with those parents that protest about The Pledge and or prayer...If they don't like it they have " the freedom " of removing their children from the free, no charge American public schools. God Bless America and for which stands.

If a person does not want to pledge allegience to America then they should not be an American citizen! This is also all spelled out in our imigration laws which are not being enforced, as everyone well knows. Imigrants are suppose to pledge allegience to America as a prerequisite to becoming a citizen. HELLO!
