I think by age 18 a young man or woman should have some working skills to make reference to and that will better allow them to start assessing their future and career options. My child is only 8 now and we discuss employment at this point although I don't anticipate him working outside of the home until he is about 14 or 16 year of age. I want him to have some work ethics under his belt before age 25.
