cute short excellent piece. v. clearly took me right back to NYC and all the dif't modes of transport. i was there in the rain last time, with umbrella and shlepping bags. also took subway and then a cab - paid for by old boyfriend (nice Jewish boy from brooklyn - my 1st boyfr !) who then took me to japanese lunch at his health club on the rivier (boo no time for sauna and storing my stuff during).
