    I agree.
    I think restricting their sale to children, improving awareness of the dangers to children (with a national campaign) and providing good alternatives (free water coolers - definately) are the way forward.

    Re: Schools and Colleges. The availabilty of water coolers and freshly made smoothies at a bar, may reduce the need to continually sip pop drinks, a community campaign of nutritional awareness might also help along with project work highlighting foods and drinks which undermine health and learning capability.

    What about on site 'breakfasts' with juices and smoothies?
