In my opinion an interesting storyline would be if Caroline were to actually fall for Klaus (the original/ hybrid everyone wants to kill) and them then becoming a proper couple/ in a real reationshipbecause through the middle part of series 3 they have really been connecting- with him even telling her he fancies her and surprising her with extravogant gifts, which she doesnt necsesarily want to start with, but begins to accept and use, and they had real moments in episodes 3x13 and 3x14 because Klaus really opened himself up to her for her to really know him and see inside of him. i think this would make an interesting storyline because if Caroline- one of Elena's (the doppelgangers- the latest doppleganger of Katherine aka Katerina Petrova who Klaus has been hunting for centuries to break the hyrid curse) best friends- started dating Klaus and fell madly in love with him she would not want him to be killed and would therefore lose all of her friends as they would want to kill him and she wouldnt be able to let them, and it would be an interesting storyline because it could all end up in completely different ways

I think Stefan and Caroline would be perfect for each other &&trust me girls(and boys) im only saying this to get Stefan and Elena away from each other so, Damon and Elena can finally hit it off like its meant to be!
Now if it werent for that, i would totally say Tyler! They are getting closer and closer, now that caroline has revealed she's a vamp to him and hes a wolf to her. :) They are so cute together, and perfect. (plus, they both have some major anger issues♥)
There is no other person for Caroline except for Stefan. (I don't think anyone else should even have a box next to their name.) Caroline and Stefan have opened up with each other more than anyone else on the show. They can be who they are around one another, without fear of consequence or judgment. Nothing is fake. No one lies. No one covers up their thoughts. It's just raw, truth, beauty. Stefan laughs, he smiles, he jokes and teases with her... yes, he still has that protection for her -- but she has it for him too. They save each other -- whether it's scary situations, or in "life" situations, with their friends or other relationships... The know each other better than they think they do, and slowly but surely, it's all coming out. Their friendship is blossoming with every episode gone by... and it's amazing to think back and see how far they've both come, and it's awesome to wonder about the potential relationship of these two in the future. they'd make such a GREAT couple and the storyline would be amazing .. A vampire and a werewolf..
