Simple. I've been a Laker fan sinice 1965. So I've suffered through too many fluky losses at the hands of the Celtics. Even when most of the time we were the better team. So I love it when the Celts get there's. Last year they cry we had a key injury. GIVE ME A BREAK !!!! Thats how they amassed 17 championships-- on the misfortunes of others.

I can't stand Boston. There have been some awesome comments already listed as to why I feel the way I do. I can't stand them for as far as you could throw them Doc- he's an idiot! Plain and simple Danny Ainge - never liked - even worse now. Kevin McHale - can't stand him either. That whole Kevin Garnett thing when the ticket was in Minnesota. He's another drop kick. But it actually goes well beyond the name s I've mentioned I truely believe Red Auerbach was the most conceded - pompous SOB there ever was in professional basketball. He is the reason - the MAIN REASON for my hatred of the Celtics. I dislike a lot of teams be it NFL, MBL even down here in New Zealand with rugby and the Aussies and the South Africans but they don't even COME CLOSE to how much I can't stand the Celtics. Man, that felt good - 41 years of pent up frustration......yeah it goes back to '69 guys. The best titles for me that L.A has won - has been against the Celtics....'85 & 87 were cool and last year was simply Magic!

Certain teams come and go. The Bad Boys, the Bulls, the Spurs, the Heat, all were (or will be successful). But the Celtics are the one team for whom no amount of revenge will ever be enough. The C's mostly-antiquated banners are the only excuse left not to acknowledge the Lakers as the NBA's Greatest Franchise. That excuse needs to be buried.

I was a big fan of LBJ before he entered the league right up until he & Mav threw out that race card. Frankly, the only way I would want him to win a 'chip is if PJ coaches the Heat while Wade & Bosh are still in uniform. I'd want any team coached by PJ to win; it just so happens that I'm a Laker Fan so I'm in Win-Win situation. Lucky Me!

Hate the Heat because they continue to receive accolades for achievements they have yet to accomplish...WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP, PLAY WELL TOGETHER, COME OUT OF THE EAST, ESCAPE INJURY! The only one in the mix of the Big 3, who has done anything and deserves some respect is Dwayne Wade and he is getting the least respect. I believe they have the potential to be a good team, but would like to see them play a regular season before I put all my eggs in that basket.
