    @Rick

Glitches? I've had an iPhone 4 for half a year but have not seen even a single glitch. It's much more likely that you are just a n00b at technology. If you're incompetent, then stay quiet.

    Sent from my iPhone 4.

I just got an iphone 4 about 2 months ago. It is the most overrated consumer device in the history of the world. I wish I had gotten a blackberry. The iphone keypad is awful. There are all sorts of weird glitches in the operation of the iphone operating system. The i-phone battery life is crap. The operating system is crap because I constantly accidently select an option and then have to go back....Verizon users, don't waste your money on the i-phone. It is totally overrated.

AT&T has good service, and for less $$ than verizon charges. I dumped VZW for ATT over a year ago, and never looked back. I have no interest in going back to outdated CDMA technology.

I bought the first iPhone the day it launched. Still have it, but only use it like an iPod. Currently have the Droid Incredible on Verizon, and will switch back to an iPhone as soon as its available on Verizon. Like the Droid, but love the iPhone.

I've been with Verizon for 8 years and we have 5 active lines with them. Not sure what other providers charge, but with Verizon, every phone with unlimited data is an extra $40 a month on top of the regular bill. We have one Android phone and that's enough for now.

Teri, I use touchdown on my evo and I have no problems connecting and syncing with my corporate email and outlook account. The mis people normally don't know how to set up any phones other than BB or Iphone. Sorry you had to leave your android.

i will gladly replace my new Droid X with a Verizon iPhone. Apple wins hands down on the complete user experience. Google is a wonderful but faceless company, and troubleshooting issues between google,Verizon, and android apps in a fractured Android OS environment if a frustration no customer should have to endure.

Been using AT&T with iPhone for over two years and have had very few problems. Just wish more happy AT&T customers would voice their satisfaction more often. Granted, the service must suck in San Fran, but that's ONE market.

I have used the iPhone since it was released. I have upgraded every year with the newest version except this year. This year my connection from my primary location has been terrible. I have spent not less than 15 hours with ATT tech support since my phone works in every area of the US and Canada where I have extensively traveled except my home office and the 5 mile radius around my home. ATT confirms there are many towers in my area and my signal should be great. It isn't

Recently I tested the Droid X and while connectivity was better I did not like the phone as much as my iPhone. So when Verizon offers the iPhone I will test it on their service. Assuming it gets a great connection I will be a customer.

I have been a double service customer for two years, toting both a Verizon phone and iPhone. Delighted with Verizon reach, hated AT&T. During one of our lovely So Cal earthquakes, I couldn't call out of my office building with AT&T, but was able to with Verizon. Nice to know in an emergency. Fast-forward, decided to simplify my life. So I tried the Droid X but NO ONE could get it to sinc with Outlook. That was the clincher, besides the fact that service reps had conflicting information on how to use its features. Unable to connect with my Outlook email, I canceled Verizon and upgraded my iPhone. Not crazy about the costs at all. I am one frustrated phone user. BTW, if someone has the magic bean about how to REALLY sinc the droid with Outlook, please advise. In anticipation of "the big one" to hit So Cal, I would switch to a Verizon iPhone.

If it's not out by Feb I will get an Android instead. This wait is killing me.

I also am not a fan of apple's iOS. The iPhone looks appealing to the eye, but the OS is too restrictive for my taste and currently there is no adobe flash. My motor Droid by comparison is not an attractive looking phone, but it "does" everything I need it to and some without hacking.

Too late. I fervently wanted one for about 2 years 6 months but now I am a happy Android user...

  • John - 13 years ago

I like the Android system far more than the iOS system. So no, I won't be switching from my Motorola Droid to an iPhone.

Paula is right. The survey is poorly constructed. I might have answered maybe if that was an option, because I don't know yet how much the Verizon iPhone will cost. Also, I'm sure the survey results are skewed by who is reading the article. The types of people reading the article are probably those who would be most interested -- people who have Verizon now and already want an iPhone.

  • paula - 13 years ago

This was a poorly constructed survey as it does not give current verizon customers the option of saying maybe.

I love my Droid - I would never switch to the iPhone.

  • greer - 13 years ago

Have been with Verizon for years and the only thing not Apple in my life is my BB. However, I have to say that Verizon is not as great as it used to be and when you need help their attitude is a bit uncaring since they think they are the only game in town! Still will stick with them since I have more time left on my contract.

  • Tom - 13 years ago

I was with Verizon for 10 years and one month ago changed to AT&T and got 3 AT&T iPhone 4's for my family. Look at Verizon costs. I added 3 iPhones and my monthly charges at AT&T are less than Verizon was with only one smartphone. About $40 less! Verizon has good coverage, but very expensive when it comes to talk and data plans.

I would love to have the verizon iphone but only if it will support adobe flash. Other wise I will go with the latest droid.
