I hope he casts Abbie Cornish. She is still relatively unknown to large audiences, but that should not deter anyone. She is phenomenally talented. She was so strong in 'Bright Star.' Her performance was beautiful--perfect. She should be seriously looked at to play Daisy. She can do it

The role will be offered to Natalie Portman who is a shoe in for the lead oscar, for Black Swan, but in the end i think Blake Lively will be Daisy. She stated in an interview on imdb for 20th aniversary celebrations that she loved Lurhman movies and her performance in The Town should get her an Oscar nom for best female supporting anyway. She deserves the role, i think Portman will pass and then it will be offered to Lively. She is going to be the biggest star in Hollywood since Katherine Hepburn, keep an eye on :)
