I have an iPad and can attest to it being quite mobile. I keep it in its case (really just looks like a paper folder) and take it everywhere. Since I won my iPad and am not as worried about losing a $500 investment, perhaps I am more cavalier than some iPad users; however, I see a future coming in which tablets will be the only way to go. This is not to say that I don't have complaints about the iPad, personally I think it is far too limited so far and has not come close to meeting its potential. But, however much I may wish that my iPad had the same OS as my phone (Android) I can do more computing, browsing and playing with the pad and would not like trading the size. Just the OS.
