Well, I don't read recipes but I do like to watch reality cooking shows. But I guess that's just normal for an Italian woman. Though I will admit I have looked up the recipe for teriyaki sauce (quite simple) but otherwise food just makes sense. I've found that the best way to make food you love is to see what you have, imagine how the ingredients taste, come up with something and always keep tasting until it is perfect. I just love to cook because with even just a few cheap ingredients you have infinite possibilities. Oh, and I hate cleaning up too. I usually make a big mess especially since I always have a pot on each burner, use blenders, juicers, the oven, in fact, nothing is ever left unused in the kitchen -- thus the kitchen ends up looking like a disaster site after I'm done.
kind of an odd question to be asking on a foodie site, I don't know anybody who likes to read recipes and watch cooking shows who doesn't also love to cook.
And yeah, it's tons better when someone else is there to clean up after me.
