I would love any of these options personally but as vast and intricate as the Harry Potter universe is I think new protagonists would be neat. Aurors, renegade death eaters, dragon hunters/trainers wolves and vamps. There's just so much room for infinite exploration.

  • tom riddle - 11 years ago

young tom riddle, and how he became the dark lord from the very first day

  • Em Copeland - 11 years ago

I think that she should write about Harry's children and Draco's children being worst enemies and that Harry gives Albus his invisibility cloak and if he really is like his father ,but I just want more Harry Potter books !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just don't want her to stop writing books, because she is an awesome author!

  • Rick - 11 years ago

I believe more should be written regarding Ginny and her varied escapades from book 4 - 7.

  • samee - 12 years ago

Ron ,Hermione, Jenny & Harry, and Malfoy's kids attending hogwarts... I think it would be cool to see the old characters once in a while throughout the books and or movies... You see the the kids going off to Hogwarts at the end of the last movie I just think it would be really cool to pick up from there :D

  • sarah - 12 years ago

I would really like Jo to write a book about lilly James and snape also lupin when he joins hogwarts and how they fight voldermort at the start.

    thanks Jo love your books

  • D - 12 years ago

I think that it would be hard to invent new stuff with the kids. we would always be going back to the originals. i think it would be easier to learn about the other magical worlds in other countries. What was their lives like. How about the other schools.... I am sure we could really learn about their histories, houses, and characters. It would be fun.

I think writing anout harry's childern would be interesting, and see if he is just like harry, getting into things, and what kind of life they have.

Hey, I'm a huge Harry Potter fanatic, and I definitely think that J.K.Rowling should write another book at least (creating a film would be even better) If I was to suggest any form of ideas towards the plot for the next book/film, I would either suggest showing the day's where Voldemort (also known at Tom Ridle) coming to power, In the presences of Dumbledore and Lily and Jame potter. I certainly suggest that from seeing 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets', giving this extra boost to the Harry Potter series would benefit entirely. Although this may be the case, Another idea that could be a big possibility, is going into more detail of the 'original Order of the Phoenix', If you haven't read the book, then you wouldn't have a clue what I'm baffling on about. The original order of the Phoenix contains the following main characters; Lily and James Potter, Dumbledore, Mr & Mrs Longbottom, Sirius Black and so on, considering this aspect of the plot line would open doors to the past of Lord Voldemort and how the original 'Order of the Phoenix' defended themselves against the Dark Lord Himself. Although these ideas are very controversial, I don't really care what idea's J.K.Rowling suggests, If she was to make another book, I'm sure J.K.Rowling will come up with an amazing plot! Because J.K.Rowling is an amazing writer, and I love her entirely.

i would like to see voldemorts rise to power or dumbledores along side grindelvald

  • Brittany - 12 years ago

I believe if JK Rowling would make another Harry Potter Book, it should be on the parents James and Lily with the Marauders and Snape and the beginning of the fight before and after Harry was born. I would love to James and Lily's love story.

  • EC - 12 years ago

The next one should be based on Tom Riddle's life and how he came to be "The Dark Lord", tell the story from his point of view.

  • Wien - 12 years ago

When James, Lily, Sirius, Lupin, and Snape spend their school-time in Hogwarts

  • Wien - 12 years ago

Neville and Luna, George and Fred (with the girls they adore), Draco with his good-side

  • Kate B - 12 years ago

I would love to read about Harry/ Ginny, Ron/Hermione's kids. Also about the rest of the weasleys like George and his life dealing with the loss of Fred, and Arthur and Molly's role as grandparents. But i would like to see it mostly on James, Albus, Lily, Rose, and Hugo (H/G, R/H kids). Like the challenges they all face and them dealing with their famous parents. Maybe there was another hocruf that Tom riddle had left and he becomes stronger and taunts harry's children and niece and nephew. Or Hogwarts is having problems or something along the lines of that. But it would really mean the world to me if J.K Rowling writes more about Harry, Ginny, Hermione, and Ron and what happens next :)

  • Mariza Fernandez - 12 years ago

i meant to write Albus like harry's kid not James (harry's other son)

  • Mariza Fernandez - 12 years ago

I think she should write about Draco's son. Like about him struggling against all the bad things his family has in there past like a redemption theme with Jame there with his own challenges like trying to unite ALL the houses including Slytherin (probably spelled wrong). Wouldn't it be cool if maybe the story centered around a new/older than Voldemort evil and maybe there is a girl involved who just wants to survive being targeted by this rising evil. The boys befriend her and from there on growth tragedy death betrayal all that good stuff happens. I'd read that .Especially if they are all in Slytherin- The Slytherin Outcasts! wouldn't that be neat?

  • chy - 12 years ago

I would like to see one from Snape and Lily's Point of view! I believe that would be the most intriguing!

  • josh green - 13 years ago

i think that she should do the book on everyones kids it would make good booka and movies as well i jus dnt wnt her to stop making books shes awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Jordan Tuchin - 13 years ago

she should write a book about lily and james as the good guys. The bad guys should be barty crouch jr. escaping from azkaban and grindelwald. they should find the resurrection stone that harry dropped and resurrect voldemort and the elder wand. Then they should try and find the last hallow and take over like the seventh book. thumbs up for this idea/

  • Periwinkle - 13 years ago

i think that the books should be about severus snape. he has always been my favorite character, and i bawled when i saw him die... DX

  • Angelina - 13 years ago

I really think she should make another brilliant series but with the kids. And the ones that wasnt in the last movie!!!!

  • Sarah - 13 years ago

i really think that if JK decides to write another book it should be about James, Sirius, Lupin, Peter, Lily, and Snape all when they were in school. that would be really cool to just know more about all of them and hear about stories that happened while in school! (: thats just an idea!!

  • Eddie - 13 years ago

I always thought that another book from Rowling would live in the shadow of Harry Potter. I don't know who it should be about, but I think that if we have another story of the "new class," it may never truly live up to its predecessor; however, I do think that if a student from the "new class" grew up with an up-and-coming dark lord, it would be an interesting read. I think that Rowling's Era may never really end, but just continue through her work, and the fan-fiction that may precipitate from the fantastic world of Harry and his friends.

  • Shell94 - 13 years ago

I definetly think that if J.K.Rowling writes a sequel to the Harry Potter Series that she should conscider writing about the new class/ generation like James, Albus-Severus, Lilly, Hugo,Rose,Ted(dy) , and Scorpius or more of a prequel with James,Lilly, Lupin, Sirius, Peter,Albus, and Severus.... Both I'm sure would be absolutly amazing as the Harry potter series itself and that J.K. Rowling whatever she decideds to write will be wonderfully written and cherished in all hearts. After all in this world whats the point of an imaginative mind without believing in a little magic.

Thank you J.K. Rowling for sharing the wonderful world of Harry Potter with us.

  • me - 13 years ago

She so has to write about James, Albus-Severus, and Lily! (Harry's children)

  • ThisGuyWhoIsCommenting - 13 years ago

Either a new shorter series about Harry Potter's kids and their new adventures at Hogwarts or a story of how Tom Riddle became Voldemort.

  • catherine - 13 years ago

i think rowling should write about anything that has to do with magic. the best idea, in my opinion, would be writing about the founders of Hogwarts. i also think the rise of dark wizard, Grindelwald, would be great too.

  • harrypotterlover - 13 years ago

i think she should write a book about the first up-rising of "he who must not be named", about everything leading up to harry's first year. And one starting when Ablus is in school.

  • Bookworm - 13 years ago

I love the harry potter series, and if jk did make another one i would love for it to be about tom riddle and his life in childhood and through hogwarts. It would be cool to see how he opened the chamber of secrets if he ever secretly cared about anyone the reasons why he became so evil and if not it should be about snape with him as the main character as a child growing up always being in love with lily and how he changes throughout his life
I totally respect you jk rowling and you've made me dream to become an author =)

  • Ely - 13 years ago

We need the full Tom Riddle/Voldemort story. It should start with Salazar Slytherin, as I would like to know how the Gaunts becames so downtrodden. I would also love to read Hogwarts: A History. I would also treasure an "unanswered questions" book about the current series, answering questions like "How did Lily and James earn all that gold?" and "Why can't Lupin repair his robes and his briefcase by magic? and "Whatever happened to Bellatrix's husband?" and "Does Lucius Malfoy work?"

  • Sara Martin - 13 years ago

NO NO NO. This would be ridiculous.

Harry Potter books are the bomb. But frankly, that last little chapter that she wrote about who married who, who had whose children, and naming the kids after characters? That was ridiculous. Harry Potter needs to be left up to the imagination of what happens after. There cannot be another "Harry Potter". That last chapter stepped on the toes of imagination, but writing another book about everything that happened would be smashing the foot.

  • LW - 13 years ago

I think she needs to really fo behind the scenes with Dumbledore and Snape. What really happened? Was it a plan like Obi Wan Kanobi and Darth Vader to inspire Luke to finish his quest? (Strike me down and I will become more powerful than you can imagine) (This of course means there is some good in Snape that can be salvaged) . The new class would be great with a sprinkling of where/what the previous characters are doing.

  • Courtney - 13 years ago

Wow those are all awesome ideas! A parallel novel with Tom Riddle is a great idea. Since J.K. has already sort of set up the path he took to become Lord Voldemort, it would make for a very full story that compliments the Harry Potter series as is. Also, writing about "The New Class" would be very nice as well, maybe not a series but a couple books with amazing adventures. I can see why that wouldn't be as appealing though, seeing as the HP series was just epicness in it's truest form and had a building climax for seven books. So if she would want to avoid the anti-climatic ending that those books might yield, I would definitely go for the Lily, James, Sirius, Severus, Remus, Peter route. It would help to form a more clear, round story. All in all though I could never have been as happy with any other series as I have been with these books, I have grown and transformed with Harry and am so thankful to J.K. for granting me passage to his world of wonders.

  • Mjf - 13 years ago

I think she should write a new series about a different wizarding school like Durmstrang or Beauxbatons or another wizarding school with different characters and a new story. Harry Potter could be mentioned since he is famous to all wizards in the wizarding world.

  • drew - 13 years ago

i think that the story through a Tom Riddle/Lord Voldemort prospective would be interesting. im talking the whole story from birth to death. She only gives glimpses of what he was really doing.

  • David - 13 years ago

I would like there to be a book about Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione and their kids and the kids attending Hogwarts but i would really like there just to be a book about Harry, Ron, and Hermione about after Hogwarts and ofcourse there should be movies to follow.

  • Paula - 13 years ago

I would definitely want it to be about Snape and his days in Hogwarts with Lily and the Marauders.... or maybe it could be about Draco. ^_^

  • Pat - 13 years ago

I would love to see a series with Neville Longbottom as the main character. He would be botony professor at Hogwarts by day and solve dark magic crimes in his off times. He would be a modern Sherlock Holmes wizard equivalent.

  • Firenze - 13 years ago

I think following the Mauradurs and Lily would be really cool...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THEM

  • jorden - 13 years ago

i think she shuold wright about lily, James, Sirus Snape and piter as they were in school

  • alison - 13 years ago

books on snape would be amazing - he turned out to be such an influential and dominant character. it would be wonderful to read books on his life from growing up to following the death eaters and his turn to good - all while focusing on his love of lilly potter. i would definitely be first in line to buy those!

  • kelli - 13 years ago

How about something more sinister?... I’d love to hear more about that debonaire Tom Riddle fellow.

  • djholloway - 13 years ago

I would love to read The History of Hogwarts, and any number of Hermione's text books.

  • Roekest - 13 years ago

New characters should be the focus, but not of the children of Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione. That brings with it the baggage of their famous parents. I say go back a few hundred years to the founding of Hogwarts and Salazar Slytherin and his obsession with dark magic. I'd like to see a young Sorting Hat, without the rips and tears.

  • mike - 13 years ago

she should do a mirror reflection tell voldemorts story that would be epic and tell the tale in his perspective

  • jinq - 13 years ago

I would love to read about Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin, and the founding of Hogwarts!

  • Radu Iordache - 13 years ago

I think tha perfect hero it will be DRACO MALFOY because I believe that he as an adult could turn to be a good man opposite to the bad boy he was in the schoool.

  • fredrica - 13 years ago

I love your books!!!!!!!! you should most definitely write another one. i think you should write one about Malfoy and his children. that be awesome!!!!!!!!! or krum. I LOVE KRUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Brittany Jones - 13 years ago

I have been saying that another series based on the "new class" with the previous characters's children would be AMAZING!!!! I am an avid reader and out of everything that i've read, Harry Potter will always and forever be my favorite!!!

  • Me - 13 years ago

My favorite character has always been Neville Longbottom. As he is the other half of the prophecy, I think watching him come into his own would be amazing! I've always loved how his act at the end of the book (and actually in the 5th book as well when he saves Harry - so sadly not in the film) shows he would have been a great foil for Voldemort as well. She could start with the final year of Hogwarts where he leads the rebellion and then watch him become an adult.

  • kristen - 13 years ago

I'd love to see a seriese about the Mauradurs... I know I just murdered that word, but I think they are so fun but they also have had so much drama and history within thier friendship and there are so many untold stories.
