Cornyn is a snake. A RINO who proved that fact repeatedly over and over again in this election. He has voted to expand the ability of the federal government to intrude into the lives of private citizens several times over the past couple of years. And although he brags about his conservative bone fides, he hardly earned any when sitting on the Texas Supreme Court. He needs to be defeated in the primary the next time he is up for reelection
As noted, when Cornyn took the job things didn't look so hot. Or even, to continue the image, melted.
He made mistakes but he shifted gears and adjusted when that became clear.
Let's not make being perfect a sin qua non.
