I am against any of these methods being used by people who have no business implementing them. Has everyone forgot who these people were? The only thing the TSA did was to legitimize a minimum wage job that was previously held by people who weren't even capable of being employed in the fast food business. Now we are giving them the ability violate our rights with no reason and are allowing them to decide what we can and cannot do.

A strip search is the most horrible, but a very close second is both the full body scan and the extreme pat-down. I viewed an interview of a pilot on Fox News Wednesday night who refused the scan and the pat down, and after piloting for over four years, is now required to SUBMIT in order to fly the plane. His principles won out, and he went home.
A wild and imaginative comment was made during the interview that these scanners could show up in other places in society. It might not be such a crazy idea at all! How many of us could imagine them showing up in banks, courthouses, police stations, government offices and more? How far will this go? Those who can shrug over this demand at airports can't be thinking ahead. This is the type of intrusion that can only grow, like a snowball rolling down a steep steep hill.
