ODOT is considering a plan to allow motorcycle commuters to split lanes in busy traffic. Should Oregon become the second state in the U.S. to allow it?
Yes. It's a good way to thin out congestion during rush hour and, with the increasing number of motorcyclists in Oregon, could go a long way in reducing greenhouse gas emissions from idling vehicles.
No. It's too dangerous and motorcyclists should have to observe the same rules as everyone else stuck in a traffic jam.
