If graphic novel wins, does that mean we'll have to vote again once we've determined some titles to choose from?

Standing by Hobbit. Although really, I'd be happy with just about any of those.

I voted Lord of Misrule because a) I try to read all the award-winners and b) I am a horsewoman! Also, I have read almost all of the others. I just can't see myself reading the DaVinci Code again, and I would be so sorry to drop out of the book club when I've just come on board! Hey! I almost missed the opportunity to vote because I didn't hear from Monkey See. How do we get on the book club mailing list, if there is such a thing?

Looks like Hobbit is in the lead right now. Could I really be so old that the book wasn't around when I was a kid? I was sure I read everything back then.

I suggest you hold Lord of Misrule til *next* book club. It might be hard to get copies right now.
Libraries are ordering copies and piling up long reserve lists. Even amazon can't deliver it for a few weeks.

Voted Graphic Novel. I'd love to see either Andi Watson/Simon Gane's Paris or something by Scott Morse (Maybe Barefoot Serpant?).

Graphic novel! Maybe Fun Home, or Blankets...

Voted graphic novel. I'm down for whatever wins, with the exception of one Dan Brown; given that scenario, I will consider seppuku.

I voted Graphic Novel. I hope that among the options are Blankets, Black Hole, Box Office Poison, or other books that maybe do not begin with the letter 'B'.
