Series Archive pages are generated by the built-in WordPress custom-taxonomy ap (series are a custom-taxonomy). So in that sense Series Overview pages are "regular" WP-pages, it could be that the wpSEO plugin doesn't handle custom-taxonomies?

OR if you are talking about the Series TOC (table of contents page) which lists all the series written, then yes, that is not a regular WP page and would be something I'd work on making customizable/integrate with AIO-SEO plugin.

I'll take a look at the Manage Series that shows up. It shouldn't be, but I'll look (and fix if necessary).

    Hi,
getting meta descriptions - as written into the Manage Series - via SEO for Series Overview pages ist essential to show up properly with Google.

Until now, my wpSEO (similar to aioSEO) gives me Startpage descriptions + keywords on every series. The developer (Sergej Müller - antiSpamBee) says: its because OrgSeries Overview Pages are not handeled as regular WP-pages. Thats why AIOseo or wpSEO cannot grap the Meta and has to take the defaults of the startpage.

By the way: the «Mange Series», that shows up befor the series title in the titlebar of the browser, should be editable for other languages. I made a .po.mo file in german for 2.1.7 but that doesnt help anymore. Could you make this an option? Or include it in your pot-file.

    happy weekend from Germany
    Tang
