I just want my switch back. Currently Im becoming dizzy every time I try to type a note. If Im in a meeting taking notes on my IPad I really cant be bothered with double tapping and figuring out which way to swipe. By that time I would have missed half of what was being said.
This is the most biased poll ever. I personally couldn't care less about a small switch on a device that does so much more. If this is a major concern of someone then I might suggest that someone get a life.

Since the mute switch DOES NOT WORK on the iPad, the real question should be: do you want the switch on the iPad to DO ANYTHING AT ALL, or is it OK for you that Apple rendered it totally useless?

Post is incorrect; you swipe to the right or from the left to access the lock switch, not to the left.
