The "Classical" in "Classical Physics" means:

"Pre-modern." That is, areas of physics that were well established before 1900.

"Not quantum." This would include General Relativity from post-1900 physics.

Ummm... "Played by an ensemble including violins?" Dude, I was a humanities major; I have no idea what you're talking about.

As a being of pure intellect, I have no need to define petty domains of knowledge, but can encompass the oneness of all things. I love me some Internet polls, though.

Classes on "Classical Physics" or "Classical Mechanics" typically do not include relativity and other post-1900 theories. So I believe the first option to be more accurate.
