DE Kai Ellis, 2002. Had four tackles for a loss and made the key play at the end to force the "backwards pass'' that won the game
WR Reggie Williams, 2001. Caught 11 passes for 203 yards, the most in the history of the Apple Cup, as UW won 26-14.
RB Rashaan Shehee, 1995. Rushed for 212 yards and three TDs, including an 85-yarder that is the longest in the history of the Apple Cup in a game UW won 33-30.
RB Jacque Robinson, 1984. Rushed for 160 yards in three TDs as UW rallied in a back-and-forth game in Pullman to win 38-29 and clinch an Orange Bowl berth.
