My children got me & my husband watching the show and we got hooked on it. And yes I do agree with everyone else that the show isnt the same without Lucas & Peyton, but irs still a great show, I would love to see go on for at least another 2 seasons, and have it all end with all of the origional characters, bring them all bach for the finale episode.

I totally think they should keep going. I also think it was stupid to take Luke and Peyton out when they did. I love the show either way but its not the same without luke and peyton.

I was always rooting for Brooke and Lucas but when P Sawyer and Lucas got married and had baby Sawyer it was really great but it was also stupid to have them get married have a baby and then be off the show they should come back and one tree hill should go on :)

I love one tree hill i have all the seasons and ive watched them over and over every summer I think it should go on for at least a tenth season and should have Lucas, Peyton and Sawyer back to. One Tree Hill is the greatest show I've ever watched and I would hate to see it end and I like the funny haley as well and would love to see Skills and Mouth back they were a big part of the show also.

I just finished reading all the comments. It made me laugh that almost all the people here are rooting for Leyton to come back!! ahaha I hope they're able to read these comments somehow and come back!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE! we've missed you guys! and not knowing SAWYER is just very disappointing :(

Yup! totally agree that without Hilarie and Chad, the show became totally different. I like the characters of Haley and Nathan, but it would have been better if the two brothers both have problems raising their kids, well of course Jaime is older but still. Would have been great to have Peyton around when all of Brooke's dreams came true. She's finally happy and Peyton ought to be sharing those happy moments with her. Sawyer too! man! Even without Chad, I would still definitely watch One tree hill if Hil is there. AGAIN. I hope for more seasons because i'm still hoping that one of these days Hilarie would realize that she needs to go back to the show for her fans!!!!!!!!!!! The show was just not the same after they left, it's like a totally different show now. Like for some reason the places they go to, the things they do are so different, there are no familiar scenes from the previous seasons. Season 5, i understand. Aaaaahhhhh I have watched Leyton's scenes over and over and over again, I also finished watching the entire 6 seasons just because of Peyton and Lucas. It took me more than a week to finish but it was so worth it. I want more seasons just so there's still hope for Peyton, Lucas, and Sawyer brooke to come home.

One Tree Hill, Is Lucas & Peyton End Of Story. It Was Honestly Sad To See The Show Continue With Out Them. Furthermore, OTH has gone down Hill. No more voiceovers, or music crashing into the scenes. It's almost hard to watch, but I do because I've watched the show from the very beginning. It would've been simply lovely if they ended the show with Season 6. Everything was set, and everything was where it should of been. By continuing on, it's dragged out too many new characters and stories. Honestly, the acting hasn't been at it's highest. One Tree Hill, will always be special to me, but it's time to end. All I can hope for, is an amazing, amazing series finale. I'm talking all the characters, sharing memories, and bringing the story to a close, and finally one last voiceover by THE Lucas Scott.

I really would hate to see OTH go off the air. But if this really is the final season, I really agree with Sophia Bush and that they should really go out with a bang. Like a 2 hour finale. But it would only be worth it if it had all the castmates there (Peyton, Lucas, Karen, Dan, Deb, Rachel, ect) Maybe even a rememberance of Keith in there somewhere! I have been watching this show since the very first episode and I have loved every minute of it. I can understand if after 8 years the cast want to explore other options. But please don't let this series end without a comeback from the origionals!!!!!! It would be a big dissappointed to CMM and Hiliarie Burton fans and all OTH fans if we didn't get to see them for the finale!

Even though I have enjoyed seasons 7 and 8, it just doesn't feel the same without Lucas and Peyton. This show originally centered around Lucas and Nathan. It just seems strange with one of the brothers out of the picture. And now knowing that Chad and Hilarie won't be back playing Lucas and Peyton for Brooke and Julian's wedding, really kind of upsets me. Except for if there was some way that they could be fitted into the series finale episode at the end of this season(and they actually could come back for the filming), the Brulian wedding was the one episode I really wanted to see them in. How the sixth season ended was perfect. Sometimes I just wish the show would have ended there-even if I haven't minded seasons 7 and 8. Again its just not the same without Lucas and Peyton.

if you think about it at the start it was all about Lucas and Nathan, and Dan and Deb and Karen and keith and Peyton and Brooke.
But it was always mainly about Lucas (and Peyton)
taking away Lucas and Peyton is like taking away the show!

One Tree Hill is definetly not the same show without Leyton, so I think it shouldn't go on.
Continuing the show without his main characters wasn't a good idea..the seventh and the eight season aren't so bad, but I always feel like I miss something or someone. And this is true, I miss Lucas and Peyton and so the show now isn't that, what she has been til the sixth season.

This show must go on!! I have never been sooooooo inspired by another show! I love this show! Plus it teaches a lot of life lessons that we could all use! I say keep it on for another 8 seasons!!! You can never have enough of a good thing!

I think that they should have ended this show two years ago in the season six finale. Nathan finally made it to the NBA, Brooke finally had a steady man, Lucas and Peyton got married and had Sawyer, Karen and coach returned ... I would have liked to "imagined" what would have happened from there after instead of the show's version of season 7 and 8. I also hate how Nathan and Brooke lost their successful careers. And basically, the only reason I'm continuing to watch is to see when Lucas and Peyton return. This show needs to end, as much as I love it.
