Should President Obama be challenged for renomination in 2012?

Obama will destroy the democratic if he remains in office. He betrayed his party and the people that voted for him. We would of never voted for him had we known we were just getting another Bush. He knew the GOP was coming after SS after the first of the year yet he gave them the 2% payroll tax knowing full well that it would continue to get extended in another year because the GOP will be in control.

Before that payroll tax will given to the GOP, Social Security would of lasted until 2037. And now that it will not get completely funded, it will only last now until 2023, with just this one year extension. When the GOP gut it after the first of the year and when they continue to extend the payroll tax cut again in another year, how long do you think it will take to drain the whole fund? Only about another couple of years.

If somebody does not challenge him in 2012, a GOP will win because if all we have to vote is a Republican disguised as a democrat and another Republican, why should we get out and vote as nothing will change anyway.

We need somebody like Anthony Weiner who has balls and will stand up to the GOP and will stand up for the American people.

It will be a sad sad day for America if we end up with another GOP president. They only care about the rich and the poor and middle class will go down the drain.

Save this country before its too late! Obama has to go!

Please. The one sign of a good president is when both parties are mad at him. President Obama is the president of the American people, not the Democratic People or Republican people. The result is that he doesn't have the luxury of playing these distgusting games that both parties in congress do. We're in a fragile financial situation right now, and our president has to do what's best for us, not his party. In this case what was best was not letting the middle class tax cuts be held hostage by the Republicans. Kudos to him for having the wisdom to think like a decent person--not a politician. We need more guys like him in politics.

Obama spent two years telling himself that the Republicans are patriots rather than a pack of rabid hyenas eager to chew his throat out; I threw away our mandate to *avoid* having to fight. He is a smart man, a humane man, and a confident man, but in the crunch, HE IS A COWARD. He not only sold us all out to the god damned financiers (who are *still* looting the country), but he spit on the chance to FIRMLY LODGE THE BLAME FOR THE ECONOMIC MESS AND THE WAR IN IRAQ IN THE LAPS OF THE REPUBLICANS. He was too busy wooing the bastards, instead of beating them into submission, which is all this current crop of Right Wing maniacs understands. He has betrayed everyone who voted for him. If we don't throw him out, there IS no Democratic party, just a bunch of whiners with no spines.
