This book should be read not only by adoption agency employees and potential adoptive parents but, as well by social workers, child protection services workers, family court employees including judges, and "educators." Give them all a dose of reality they need.

I think this book should be a must read for adoption agency employees as well as for potential adoptive parents. While Mary and Pat's experience is at the extreme end of the spectrum, it represents a reality which must be contemplated when pursuing adoption.
