How many people were you able to persuade that scientific research aimed at radical life extension is necessary?

That's probably the way it happens most of the time. Anyway, our goal is to provide good reasoning and aarguments, so that people understand that their lives depend on the biomedical research and that it's a good thing to live longer. Keep up your good work.

I can think of at least two people I've convinced of this, and there may be others. I'm not sure that the normal effect of advocacy is to completely convince single individuals, however. It's more likely that a larger number of readers are partially persuaded, or at least hear of the idea and become somewhat willing to consider it. Conviction may come after further reading or thinking.
