Who on earth would vote for the 8-9 story building?? The asphalted area has been a carpark when in use for years - better to build a well designed park, until at least the community library is completed. Be bold council!

Let think it in a simple way - what would it be for next 100 years after 8 or 9 storey building on this corner? May be another renovation for 50 storey building. Could our local infrastructure provide an edequate support to the density increase?
It's a waste leaving it sitting idle.
Let think of our children, our next generation, give them a space to walk on, to play, to learn, to socialise and to continue develop our great country going forward. A new park to go !!!

An 8 or 9-storey building on the corner of Livingstone & Marrickville Rds would be out of character with the current surroundings especially opposite the historic and iconic St Brigid's Orthodox Church.
