No. Cable is a lightweight and the Tories would simply replace him with one of their own (If Commie Ron had any cojones that is) - Cable is irrelevant and shows what a dearth of qualified men and women there are in politics today. No one in the City would give him a job in finance if he was responsible for a P&L account.
