gimana sih cara make fitur 3D di photoshop cs5
kenapa pas saya mau ngedit foto saya ke dalam animasi 3D tulisanya mati. tulisan yang nyala cuman yg palin bawah "browse content 3D online"
I have used it many times in my last projects, check them out specially in the retouching section of my website: http://www.carlesmarsal.com/retoque_en.html
I think the graphic engine to process 3D in large images is still something that has to be improved, but the result by now is really good. As other colleagues commented, a higher perfomance will make it succeed.

Well, in my opinion I believe a lot of users dont use the 3d because of performance issues with their current hardware. I attempted a few projects using extended and many times the application has bombed out. You only have to go to adobe forums to see for yourself.
I personally love the 3d features and it's a good start although I think some features could be implemented better . I find the 3d options very clumsy tedious to use.
Is the extended version worth the extra money? I think for most people...... no
i used 3d tools in cs5 for making my planet's here... that's makes so much easy to make those planet......otherwise i have to work more harder to do this....:D
I work as a designer for a massive sign company and get a surprising amount of requests for 3d effects on vehicle wraps and larger signs. I really like all of the new tools! They make it so much easier to do the things that our clients request on a regular basis.

I use 3D in Photoshop surprisingly often, even though I'm not explicitly using Photoshop for generating explicitly 3D images. For example, I like to convert a flat image to a "postcard" and then rotate it in 3D space to fit into a composite that I'm building. I also sometimes use a 3D postcard just so I can get to the 3D lighting effects, which are amazingly flexible and powerful. In purely photographic situations, I probably don't use 3D at all, but for photo-based graphics, the 3D capabilities are really useful. I've also done a few very short 3D animations for use on the web, just because it saves me from switching to a huge specialized 3D app. (Full-blown 3D apps tend to be much bigger and more complex than Photoshop itself.)
