this analysis misses the main point....the RV is far from certain and as technology and energy prices are fast evolving it is not clear that this is the best platform. For example is to say that hybrid Natural gas vehicles which in gas equivalent terms is a fraction of gas to leave aside the fact that first version of volt maybe far from bug free which later models will have improved so if RV is in reality lower dont you want to have the option of buying the latest technology

You make a good point in terms of buying/leasing. However I believe the technology will not stand still. Three years from now recharge times as well as range will improve, based on this I will turn over my car for the " improved version".
