Morlu is a professional auditor who may be doing an excellent job and should be allowed to make a positive impact on Liberia through his profession. I think he has a role to play that is very important at this juncture. Moreover, his success could be viewed as a reflection on the performance of the Sirleaf administration as a whole. Personally, I think being a young fellow, he could try running as a Senator in the near future. This experience would get his feet wet in politics. It is appalling that soonest a Liberian get few years of success at a job, then some people are ready to make you president. No wonder we have some people wanting to run for the presidency who have not even worked a 9am to 5pm day time job. What about being the first CEO to turn a struggling private company into a worldwide success? I see more honor and respect in doing that.

What a stupid question. Why ask the question in the first place. This is the kind of thinking we hope will disappear with the new generation. Not everybody is fit for politics. Leave the man alone let him do what he is best fit to do. There are other areas in the country that need professionals, it would do you well to encourage young people to explore these avenues instead of trying to make everybody a PRESIDENT!

The issue of knowing how to audit is different from how to govern a whole nation. The auditing commission is just a single body that is easier to control as compared to a whole nation. That is a compound complex problem and I don't think that Morlu is ready for that. He is sometimes emotional and doesn't address things at times maturely. He is always in the media dealing with every little thing robustly. I love him, I like him and I am one of his many fanatic fans when it comes to his works at the GAC but I maintain that he is not a presidential material.

John is a professional accountant specialized in auditing with a strong drive to promote credibility amount Liberians who are trusted to serve in our government. Let John continues to do what he is best aspired to do. Please do not distract him from putting our mismanaged governmental house in a better order. Who will replace John when you make him president? Mrs. Ellen J. Sherif? I do not think so. She is a different personality probadly with equal passion for Liberia like John Morlu but we better not try to mismatch their fields of work. I do not know John personally, I can bet becoming president is not what is driving him currently. You remove his driving force and he will not be as effective as you think.

Accountability is not an important part of our national culture and or life style. The current pool results are a testament to this obeservation.
