Tor is the only browser that allows access to the deep web (makes up 97% of the internet), and it's the only browser that uses encryption and hides Internet Protocol address on both ends.

I like seamonkey - I can create simple text websites using Composer, which I can store on my local filesystem and link to bookmarks (and to each other), and edit any page on the fly while browsing to it by pressing CTRL-E. I know of no other browser that can do this.

Chrome might be better some say, but still doesn't offer the tens of thousands of plug-in choices that Firefox has. Also it's not a trojan for data mining purposes like Chrome. Remember Google IS a advertising company, their primary purpose is to engineer free stuff so they can profile you and sell that information. Data profiling is the social equivalent of "wearing one's heart on their sleeve". Apple screwed up and is now being sued because they are revealing personal information without the users consent.
