Full time youth pastor. I take half a day friday and all day Saturday of. Of course that is if we don't have an event or trip planned on either of those two days. In a perfect week though, that is my scenario. Of course in ministry everything is flexible.
Big question, how do you count Sunday? I'm required to be at church, I teach a youth sunday school class, I occaisionallyhave to give the announcements during Big Church and 4-6 times a year I preach in Big Church.
I count it as a work day but rarely include the hours worked in my expectations toward 50 hrs a week. The kicker is, if I need to be somewhere for a family engagement, I have to take a vacation day to miss church.

I'd be interested in knowing if people take more than one day off. The average Joe and Janet have a Saturday and Sunday off from a regular five day work week. Do you have only one day or two days off - giving you, also, a five day work week (and two full days with your family - if you have one)?
