Which Hayward Restaurant do you like most?

I love Ray's Sushi! It was a favorite while I was working in Hayward for many years. The office group would typically go there for Friday lunches, as do many others, as it's always well populated at lunchtime during the week. The portions are generous and the sashimi is extremely fresh. My boss, a frequent traveler to Japan, would drive from Lafayette on weekends with his family to have dinner there. I've tried others sushi places around the area, and none compare with the quality, portion size and price of Ray's.

We go to Chef's Experience frequently. The food is quite good and more upscale than most Chinese restaurants (more in line with PF Changs and Uncle Yu's). The atmosphere is attractive, they have a full bar, the staff is efficient, friendly and the prices are reasonable. We also enjoy sitting at the bar and watching a football game, while eating.
We are fond of going to Buffalo Bills when the weather is warm, as they have outside seating. It is too noisy inside, one can never get near the small bar to watch a game, because it is ALWAYS full and the food is large, but atrocious.
Favorite is, as one might expect, my favorite Indian restaurant in Hayward. They have two (one on A Street and one on Mission Boulevard). Their food is excellent, the staff is friendly and eager to please. We don't go out for Indian food very often, so I did not list this restaurant as my/our favorite.
Banchero's is from a bygone era. It is reasonably priced, but the dishes have not been updated to match modern tastes (which is fine for the older clientele who enjoy it). The dark, outdated atmosphere depresses me.
Not a fan of Japanese food, so I would not select Ray's.
Applebee's is similar to Denny's in that it is a welcome site when one is traveling and does not know where they are or what restaurants are available. It is reliable comfort food, but I would never select it when there are other choices.
One restaurant that is not on your list is "Buon Appetito" on A Street in Hayward. Their food is quite good and the atmosphere is more upscale than restaurants in the Hayward area. They have recently expanded by adding a bar, another room and apparently are going to add a patio area. This is a well-known restaurant treat to locals who are otherwise starved for fine dining in this area.
