My wife received this promotion a few years aga, and received her 10 "trees." Mostly, they were just barely what you might call a seedling.
I planted the trees following their instructions, protecting them from rabbits and other animals. Three days later I checked and all were gone.
If you want a tree, go to a nursery and get a tree. Don't fall for their guilt trip and free offers.
Arbor Day Foundation sends me this offer (without the survey) and donation request every year. I would like to plant some trees, but the ones they offer are NOT the ones I'll be planting. So sending money for free trees personally wouldn't work for me. If I wanted to send a donation, I'd much rather do it anonymously so they won't ask for it even more than they already do.
