ATP male players are not coming out because male homosexuality is not as acceptable as lesbianism.

Maybe the ATP Tour is anti gay and forces gay male tennis players to remain in the closet.

Lesbians are stereotyped as masculine therefore it is not a threat to male heterosexuality if lesbians come out.

I am uncertain about the real reasons lesbians are out but gay men are in the closet in professional tennis.

Maybe gay male tennis players are fearful of losing endorsement deals and sponsorships if they come out.

Perhaps gay male tennis players want the focus to be on their tennis and not their homosexuality.
