    Have no idea.
This is the toughest poll IEET has posted.

In my honest opinion, you find the truth if you add option 6 to option 7 and then divide the result by 2.

A good future will be one in which all nation states disappear, along with regionalism, and they are replaced by a system of global unitarianism in which power is divided between the central government and municipal/metropolitan governments. The central government would direct things such as social welfare, an expanded NASA-type program, the regulation of global commerce and labor. The rest of government's function could be taken care of at a local level, with programs being organized as needed along scales ranging from small rural townships to larger agglomerations such as a metropolitan entity like LA-San Diego-San Bernadino-Riverside, or maybe megopolitan entities like the BosWash megalopolis.

I am hoping that the Technological Singularity will push the Super Friendly AI into controlling the world by 2050.

Great to see that our IEET readers are much more enlightened than average Americans. Glad to see that no-one chose "China will be sole superpower" yet.
It's just ridiculous that 30-40% of Americans think China got the biggest economy, when it's got 4 times America's population and less than half the economy.
