the law isn't supposed to apply to all persons uniformly and when laws attempt to make fair, but do so to the inconvenience of" particular "persons, a quote "blinded" un-quote tear appears for the ( purpetrator became victim) and all the country cries with us but because of who" she is not". too bad in our twisted and backwards society that the burden falls on the raped, the perp is identified as victim and the victim is the evil. if my picture was plastered for commiting the same crime in our" un-bias society", public opinion would display total outrage and continue to torment as have always so how about attempting to get a public opinion next time with " no image", thats right, blind the blind and test the waters in the dark.

Children of illegal immigrants (who don't pay any taxes, to ANY school district) cannot be denied a public school education....yet this woman had to serve jail time and will be considered a felon for the rest of her life, for the misdemeanor offense of listing a relative's house on the school forms? I agree it was technically wrong, and the community service part of the sentence is justified - especially if it benefits the township where her kids went to school. But put it this way - she saved her own town the burden of her 2 kids in their school system, even though she paid her taxes there!

Along the same lines, I never understood why people who don't even have kids have to pay the same taxes as those who do, even though they aren't benefitting from the use of the school system. And someone who has 8 kids pays the same as someone with just 1 kid going thru the school system. Doesn't seem fair. Or am I wrong?
