The way I see it, failure to learn the lyrics to this song indicate a decided lack of patriotism and commitment to the ideals for which our country stands. That applies to everyone who cannot remember the words, not just Miss Aguilera. The privilege of singing it in such a public forum is intended to inspire national pride, not embarrassment.
